Breakin Bread on the Boulevard

Decided to try a new place as I had heard great things about this restaurant. All true! The menu was nice, with an array of wonderful specials to choose from. Our group all enjoyed their food and the service was phenomenal! Will definitely return!

The veal chop was so tender and juicy. One of the best I had. The strip steak was excellent also. The owner Nicole was so nice. We enjoyed speaking with her . Her cooking is amazing. We took a chicken parm to go and enjoyed it the nect day. Looking forward to getting back there soon.

The food was absolutely delicious & all the servers were very knowledgeable & attentive. There were so many specials that it was difficult to remember what they were. I would suggest the specials should be printed out. The tables are very close together & the music created a high noise level. We had the Peeps Shrimp, House Salad, Gnocchi from the menu, Pork Chop, Veal Chop Parmesan & Shrimp Specials. Let's talk about dessert.....WOW! Again, the food & servers were outstanding!

It was our first time dining there based on a friend's recommendation. The place was small and a little cramped, but the food was excellent. Everything my wife and I ordered was fresh and tasted homemade. A small menu, but a large # of specials provided great options. While everything was great, I have to mention the pistachio cake - homemade by the owner based on his grandmother's recipe - one of the best desserts we ever had! Service and prices were also great. We recommend highly.

I can’t believe this place only has a 4.3. It’s BYOB (you’ve won me there already). Not a huge menu but everything is so damn good and that’s what makes every dish really good! Best spicy pasta I’ve ever had. Big portions! Pistachio cake is amazing!! Owners are the nicest. I truly believe there’s a difference when the owners are present. I never write reviews, but you guys need to open a place in north jersey 😃

This was our third time eating here. The food is always absolutely delicious! Our waitress Alexis was so knowledgeable and made our night she was so funny. The owner came over, great guy. They really take pride in their restaurant! Top quality!!

A Must Try!! Food was absolutely amazing. Old school italian feel, music playing, people “breakin bread” enjoying themselves inside and outside. Place was packed after Labor Day.. That’s a great sign!! Must try the dry aged strip steak with side of lump crab!! Wow!! Pete and Nicole are amazing owners and nobody does it better.. Cheers..

It’s nice to have a higher end option in Seaside. Flavors were outstanding and the service was efficient and friendly.

Kid-friendliness: Indoors is tight but vibrant. Outside is more space but a hair quieter.

All I have to say is wow! First I want to say you just feel at home when you are here, everyone is so personable and warm. The food was fantastic and fresh, you can tell everything is made with love. I cannot express how good this restaurant is and from the words of my son “I never want to leave here and this is the best day ever.”

So many specials should print out or put on web to view. At one point we had to ask at least 3 times to repeat. Place is small so noise level loud waitress at one point had to shout. Food was good no complaints.

Everything was top notch with the exception of a very loud waitress telling two tables, not next to each other the specials. Very unprofessional and disruptive to those eating between the tables!

For the cost we were disappointed with the food, service and overall experience. One of the salads were received had hair in it, which was replaced after notifying the server. Bread wasnt refilled when asked nor were we given butter when asked. The worst thing though by far were the flies in the dining room flying around the tables and food. I have never encountered anything like this at a restaurant unless I was dining outside. We were not dining outside. All in all, it was not worth the money.
