Thankfully we got a table as walk ins, but the place was pretty busy. It’s a very beach vibe and the menu reflects all of the summer favorites. We got the Korean wings and avocado fries for starters. The wings were good, but I would pass on the avocado fries. I decided to take a chance and go for the tuna bowl. To my surprise, the tuna was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and it filled me up. My boyfriend got the double burger and he could barely finish it. His only commentary was that the waffle fries were trash.

Very good ambience with live music and beach vibesLove the sandy floor and picnic tables. Bar is easily available and has a nice aesthetic. Food was simple but good Always a great time with friends. This is our favorite sit down spot in Seaside.

Live in Seaside Height part time. First time at Drifters. Food was very good. Had a fish sandwich, great tasting fish. Flakey white and fresh. My husband had the same. Full bar, drinks great. Live music. I would definitely recommend them for any local or visitor to Seaside Heights!

It seems like a good idea but not enough food choices and limited drinks options. The sand deck area is pretty cool but someone’s flip flops showered us and our food with sand, moving on to another place soon.

Finally tried this spot on a quiet Summer Monday afternoon 8/7. Whomever the bartender was, he’s excellent at his job. He did a great job of talking to everyone and bringing people together in conversation. He’s what makes people come back and stay longer.The food was excellent! I had a seafood aguachile and it was fabulous. Fresh, great ingredients. Perfect for a summer day. Came with house made tortilla chips! The environment is fun and Beachy with live music and picnic tables.It’s a bar, in the sand... So if that’s not your thing, this might not be for you? I kinda giggled at the people upset about that in another review.

Really great place! I heard about it a few weeks ago from an employee. We just went back for the 2nd time over the weekend. Food taste really fresh, drinks are good and unique, and all the staff was friendly/fast. Well run place and good vibes.
Visited for the first time, and totally impressed by the vibe and eclectic menu options. So tired of run-of-the-mill selections you can find anywhere on the island. The Asian-fusion flavors of their menu are perfectly intertwined across various small plates and entrees. We had the Korean fried chicken wings which were outstanding. Two of us had the hanger steak- cooked perfectly and full of flavor, clearly marinated well and topped with kimchi. Served on a very full plate with sticky rice, mixed greens and delicious housemade macaroni salad. Felt like a home cooked meal, and was absolutely delicious. Husband had the ahi tuna steak which he loved as well, and agreed the restaurant is now a favorite. I loved the glassware and the bottled water on the table- really a beachy elegant feel. It was raining so we didn’t get to enjoy outside which looks like it must be a great spot for happy hour and nightlife. Inside there is an adorable bar and they have craft cocktails as eclectic as the menu. Very happy to have a new chef-inspired place to dine casually!!!!! I can’t believe we are from Ortley and I didn’t know it existed.

Cute place, with great atmosphere but very limited menu. I ordered the tuna tacos which were good but so wish the dish had 3 tacos rather than 2. Drinks and service were good.

We went to this place to eat some good food after a bad day experience the night before on the boardwalk. We found this place on Yelp and it had some really good reviews. After walking about 10 blocks from our hotel we finally got there and found a beautiful spot with a fantastic patio and live music. The menu is very small but sufficient to accommodate almost any pallet. Abby our server is a very vibrant young lady with great personality. She took our orders and proceeded to bring them out to us pretty quickly, all the while checking on us to make sure we were happy with everything. We were not only happy we were elated with the food and service. And the drinks were delicious!
