we stopped by for a quick drink. I walked in the drawer, and the bouncer immediately barked at me, asking to see my ID, which I pulled out willingly. he then yelled at us and said we don’t have a public bathroom which did not bother us as we were going to have a drink. The bartender was very sweet, but then I proceeded to watch the bouncer yell at two other customers and kick them out. Watching the whole interaction the customers did nothing wrong. very disappointed food was so so. I just would never go back because I will never be treated like that again

Sheila the bartender is awesome. The bouncer dude was kinda harsh on letting my nephew and his friend use the restroom, but Sheila to the rescue. I Ordered first then asked if they could use the facility. Bouncer was not having it, mind you it was b4 9pm. Sheila made it happen. Thanks.

Tuesday July 9th 2024 My husband and I walked into the bar when they first opened for the day, Bill the was amazing and so accomadating. We went back later on that night around 11pm The bartender that was working that night didn't even acknowledge us. We asked the bouncer a question and he was nothing but rude.I was very disappointed.I've been going there for many year, And we were never , ever treated that way, but the bartender Bill during the day shift, He gets two thumbs up from us!!! The staff at night that day , they really need to practice their customer service skills !!

Not really sure where to start…
For starters it was July 4th at night and the place was absolutely dead. Let that be the first red flag. Then as are about to walk in the bouncer is just…observing the railing on the boardwalk nearby? So instead of waltzing in, we wait on him and let him check us instead. We get inside, it’s dead, one of the pool tables eats our quarters and the bartender has to come fix it. Tells us we can’t put a water bottle on the pool table, fair enough. And then (with attitude of course) tells my girlfriend she can’t bring in outside liquor. (Didn’t know this because other bars literally let you buy packs and bring them around to other bars. I know because WE DID THIS) but as she’s walking out the airheaded bouncer starts yelling at her (even though the bartender already told us) and getting the police attention even though she’s ATTEMPTING to throw it out at a garbage that isn’t very close???? Yea…
These guys are rude, the place is dead on July 4th, and you won’t feel safe here at all. Listen, seriously speaking there are other bars on the boardwalk that are fantastic. And even better bars with pool tables not directly on the boardwalk (not sure if I can name them). This bar is NOT the only one with live music. Don’t waste your time.

We came in today on a Saturday to see my father in law who was at the bar with a beer. We didn't even sit down, we just walked up to our father to show him a picture of us on the hydra roller coaster across from the bar. This big man behind the bar with a backwards hat and a strawberry blonde beard barrates and disrespects me in front of my family and daughter for no reason about an ID when I didn't even order a drink or anything. We didn't even sit at the bar. I understand being safe for underage drinking but he had no reason to be so extremely rude. If he's there, we won't be. Unless he is enough of a good person to apologize for speaking down to another human being for absolutely no reason other than us walking in the door then I don't believe EJs deserves my hard earned money when I'm here.

Seaside has become a place for degenerates and methheads... it's so bad that the businesses aren't even trying anymore. Ejs had one bartender and 5 security guys. 0 customers.... 10 dollars for a beer. Being a local from toms rivet it's just sad....

Terrible place and terrible drinks. Terrible shots as well. We ordered Lemon Drops and it was just straight vodka. Definitely will go some place else. Also lady demanded tip after we were gonna leave. Definitely did not deserve a tip for her rudeness and disrespect towards us. If you demand a tip when you were gonna receive one how about learning to make drinks the correct way. Again Drinks and Atmosphere are terrible at this Bar. ALSO: Glasses/Shots inside the glass were very dirty and not clean. There was some sort of residue on our glasses. Go some place else and enjoy your time at this boardwalk. ☝️
