I’m not here to give bad reviews but to create awareness. I’ve only handed out a couple or 1 star reviews, but here we go. Had a bad experience here that could have been rectified very easily. I really wanted to try out this brewery when I saw some friends post the beers on their socials. Everything looked great, then I saw they shipped online so I had to try. I put in a $70 order to be shipped, everything went through and got confirmation on a delivery date. The beer never showed up. I waited a while and then called the brewery. I was told at first a 4 pack I ordered was out of stock, as soon as it came in my whole order would be shipped. I called back at a later date, the out of stock beer was in, should be shipped soon, never came. Called back in again, spoke to the delivery guy, he told me my order was in the cooler and would be shipped that day or the next, never came. I started searching Google reviews and found an email address of the owner possibly. So we had an exchange or messages and he apologized and offered a gift card. Never came. Completely unorganized shipping system, I was told later they aren’t allowed to ship out of state yet I was able to order $70 worth of beer to my address. After my follow up email asking about the promised gift card, I was completely ignored. DO NOT ORDER BEER ONLINE FROM THIS BUSINESS

I've been to several breweries across the Midwest and Heavy Reel makes the absolute best fruited sours! They have great events throughout the year and the taproom has a nice chill atmosphere.

Awesome brewery! George makes the taproom feel super welcoming and inviting. As we always say, Heavy Reel is the King of Sours and never disappoints! Their IPAs are incredible as well!

Haven’t had a bad beer from here yet. They always have some unique flavors especially with their fruit beers. I usually stick to their cream/fruit beers as they are like canned deserts and no other brewery in the area does it like them. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, nice people.

Beer is tasty, atmosphere is pretty cool, and child friendly. There's got to be a 3:1 ratio of adults to little kids and you can let the rugrats run free!!
