The cook did not use proper safe cooking procedures. I will be reporting this cafe to public health. Eat in Seaside Park. Expensive!!!!

Food was absolutely disgusting. Paid 27 dollars for a gyro and pork roll egg and cheese bagel. First they were very rude and act as if it’s a burden when you order. Then when the bagel is done it has bacon on it, my wife says that’s not what I ordered I ordered pork roll the guy argued with her then wanted to mumble in his language to his co worker. The gyro was just plain gross not what an actual gyro taste like at all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Upon arriving at the hotel that was rated a 3 STAR hotel by Bookings.com. I was given a key and walked past bags of trash and beer cans on my way to the room. The room was very dirty with used linens in a pile next to the bed. The bed looked slept in and trash on the floor in the bathroom. The hotel is very old and the manager told me the photos used on the site were old and not accurate to the quality of the hotel. The manager was very understanding and gave me a key to another room in the back of the hotel that was also very dirty and again had trash and beer cans piled at the door. The room was old, not maintained and bathroom door was falling off and would not close. the bathroom was not cleaned with used towels and wash rags on the floor and counter. it looked like the room as not cleaned and did not have a just cleaned smell and my shoes were sticking to the floor as I walked. I went back to the manager and he understood and said he would process a refund for the 4 nights I had paid to stay at this Hotel. It has been 5 months and I have still not received the refund from the Hotel or BOOKINGS.COM. This trip was for my 84 year old mother to visit her hometown and see a few family members. There were no elevators or Handicap access options to help get her to a room. The outside stairs were all in need of repair and not safe for anyone with disabilities. I would not recommend this hotel Boardwalk Charlie to anyone.. it is not family safe or family friendly.
