Just found a huge cockroach crawling around in the parmesan cheese shaker. Will not be back.

Soulful Music

It was off season so wasn’t a busy place bartender could learn to have a personality. I worked at Joey Harrison and owned my own place. Can learn to mix a cocktail a little better. Especially when it wasn’t busy.

Way overpriced food to be freezer bag food.

I got the chicken tenders-although hot and fresh-I could buy these at shop rite and make better at home.

My son got Cajun chicken sandwich-plain and rubbery. Which means they took frozen chicken and fast thawed or frozen and dropped on the grill. Again, could’ve done better at home.
My daughter got a cheeseburger-fresh and hot but very bland. Now, I realize that seasoning is preference but a little salt and pepper go a long way.
The fries were great. Fresh and hot.
The cheese sauce with the fries was straight from a nacho cheese can heated up in the microwave and tasted old and tainted. They charge $2 for a side that is about 1-2 oz. Highway robbery. I made them remove it.
The coke taste weird. Not like coke. But the replacement root beer was better-still meh.
I paid $96 for a meal that was worth $40.

That being said, they are one of few restaurants that stay open in the boardwalk. Also the atmosphere is a good vibe. And the service was one of the quickest I’ve experienced here in Jersey. Our server Karissa was great and prompt and was on top of our issues. So we enjoyed the experience for what it was.

The best thing we ordered was the butterfly fries. Wish they had a little more trifle oil but pretty good.
We tried a variety of things at our table. Fish and chips, sliders, salads, pork sandwiches. Everything was ok. Wish we would have just grabbed something from one of the smaller places because they smelled a lot better than what we got.

Almost perfect experience for the first time here. My sister and I drove in from Upstate and arriving around 730-8pm Thursday night. We were greeted warmly by the host and quickly seated. The place wasn't full inside but a decent amount of people. We were seated right next to the bar where a group of men were obnoxiously screaming at each other. The bartender seemed overwhelmed a bit at the bar seeing as she was the only person working it. We ordered 2 frozen drinks. One strawberry margerita and a drink called It Takes Two. We enjoyed the flavor just wish the ice was blended more. The small chunks made it difficult to drink through a straw. Our server was sweet but would disappear for minutes at a time. A runner brought out our food pretty quickly. Our appetizers and entrees were fresh and hot. We got fried pickles which had a light crispy breading and had a unique seasoning that was delicious. I ordered the cheesesteak and the meat was flavorful and tender. Perfect bread to meat ratio. I only mention this due to going to another restaurant that had a horrible steak and cheese. Jimbos will get the job done if you need some solid food or just drinks and chill watch sports, in our case it was the Olympics. ?

This place was just ok for me. We originally picked it because it was not playing any live music at the time. Don't get me wrong I love live music, but sometimes I just need a break. The moment we ordered they started blasting!! the tvs. There was a game on so I get it, but I was just so disappointed. We were looking for something small so we each ordered a drink (we both enjoyed) and truffle parm fries (I did not enjoy these at all). Our server was really friendly and tried to make it a point to talk to us and other tables he was tending to.

Service and atmosphere was great, but the food was… inedible. We got fried calamari and had to send it back. The wings and cod tacos were freezer burnt and terrible. I feel bad leaving this review but I would want to know this before giving this restaurant my money :(

Fast and friendly service. Delicious strong drinks. Crab cakes were trash. Literally some type of fish slush covered in heavy fried batter.
