What a great bar. Much quieter than the busy bars of seaside. Nothing better than being able to order Maruca's Pizza right at the bar. The bartender was so friendly and the Pizza was the best.

Went here because our family took us here who live near by the board walk. Good place to eat! The Philly cheese steaks were phenomenal! I got the buffalo chicken cheese steaks and it was damn good! Couldn’t even tell it was chicken. Our waitress didn’t get around to us as much for us having a big party it was also fairly slow when we went. But overall good experience and great food.

Been coming to Seaside for 10 years. First time in here. Never again. Bartender working on Saturday, May 20 was totally rude and obnoxious as soon as we sat down. Ordered 2 slices of pizza from Maruca's. He brought them out in about 2 minutes and said, "fresh out of the oven." Um, more like "fresh from the counter after sitting there for 3 hours." Cold. Soggy. Horrible. Ok, a big miss so far, we can just leave. The kicker was when Mr. Obnoxious, I guess showing off in front of the four or five 20-somethings at the bar, says loudly, "I just want to f***-off all day and give bad service all day." Yes, he said that. You can't make this sh*t up. If you are the owner of this place and you are reading this, please find some good, nice bartenders. Your bar won't be empty all the time.

We have been going to JR's at Easter for more than a decade, and it NEVER disappoints. The Marucca's pies are fabulous, the mixed drinks are good, and the beer, of course, is great.Even better, the service is fantastic! The bartender has a smile for everyone and is both attentive and helpful. The waitstaff is equally great. They are thoughtful and always in great humor.Go to JR's - it is totally worth it.

got a meatball parm, did not expect the excruciating food poisoning that came with it the next morning. service was meh, but mostly upset about my vacation with my family being ruined due to an improperly cooked meatball sub. like, really? how do u mess that up so bad?

Was having a great time until the bartender was being a little douche bag. Would've given more service but we decided to make an early exit due to his lack of professionalism and lack of personality.

I stopped in here this December to warm up and to have something to eat. Because a lot of places are closed in the off season along the boardwalk, I stepped in here and was grated by the friendly staff and ordered a slice of pizza and a Coke. The pizza slice was large and tasted great! It was not greasy . If I visit Seaside Heights again, I will stop in here.

I was there on the off season and most places were closed on the boardwalk, but I did find JR's Ocean & Grill open. So I stepped inside and ordered a Coke and a slice of pizza. First off, I found the staff very friendly, the service good, and the pizza tasted great! It was a huge slice and it wasn't greasy. If I'm in Seaside Heights again , I would stop in again for lunch or supper.

"2.50 Bud / Bud Light Drafts all day EVERY DAY!" screamed the advertisement.Walked in on a hot Saturday afternoon....."Sorry, draft system is down.". 20 taps shut.I don't believe there is anything mechanicalthat can go wrong, other than CO2 gas running out. 5.00 a bottle for same 2 beers mentioned above.Classic bait and switch.
