Staff was super friendly, portions were large and the food was great. I would highly recommend. If you’re a local in seaside heights, you probably already know, but if you’re visiting the area like I am, this place is literally can’t miss! Thanks guys, we’ll be back!

This place was awful. Empty/no customers. Dirty. Food was disgusting. Servers were not clean. Not friendly. Food came out way too quick because it was re-heated and not fresh. mac and cheese was spoiled. Would NOT recommend. Gross!

terrible experience. flies everywhere. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, it tasted bad, had to spit it out and flush the food out of my mouth, it was rancid meat. Had a side of coleslaw it was spoiled, had to spit it out as well.the place was gross, sticky tables and floors.

SECOND TIME I’ve been there and the staff were extremely rude. My brother and cousins go on Thursdays because apparently it’s fun for some people but now sadly I won’t be joining them anymore. Also my father who is a state deputy will be informing the restaurant on the various forms of harassment since their bouncers are absolutely vile and very touchy.

As far as beach motels go it was OK. The guy at the counter helped me when I booked the wrong date. Luckily we were able to get a room.

my first visit and i was wonderfulI spoke with a woman named Ashley who was the best employee ever!She recorded a few items on the menu and everything was delish
Ive been going to Jax every thursday for the past few years, (since my 21st birthday actually, until they had to close because of covid) ive always celebrated my birthday here, i know all the bartenders and almost all of the bouncers know my face, when i walk up, except this one who im here to talk about. The Sunday of MDW, i showed up at 1:35am and everyone was still partying inside, so i opened the door and a new bouncer that ive never seen before aggressively grabbed me by my arm and yanked me back, SCREAMED in my face and told me to get out because they were closed, and thats fine that they were closed, BUT as a female who was physically abused by her father all her life, being grabbed like that and screamed at, gave me a panic attack and i left there shaking and feeling very uncomfortable. A good 5 minutes went by, and i could still feel his grip on my arm, through my jacket. If he actually wanted to keep people out, the door shouldve been LOCKED FROM THE INSIDE, the way THE EXIT DOOR WAS LOCKED and he shouldve been standing IN FRONT OF IT, AND NOT NEXT TO IT. there was no reason to aggressive grab a small female. I personally do not feel safe attending my favorite seaside bar anymore and am very upset and disappointed in how this was handled. There were other ways to prevent people from coming in and it was completely neglected. The moral of this review isnt to tell people to not go there, its in the hopes that it will be overlooked by hopefully head of security and addressed, to make "closing time" a better experience for everyone in the future

Came here 4th of July.There was fight, after fight in the smoking area.Think some of the gym bros mistook the night for a WWE Royal Rumble event.It a was an awesome spectacle to watch.

This place needs bar rescue. Seriously. Food was ok but the handling of it was poor. Turning away customer's. No team work. The cook was stressful to other workers, tried to do it all his self . Stopped cooking to deliver an order by car. Came back didn't wash hands. Kept touching his face while handling food. Workers crying literally. Never seen nothing like this in my life.
