In the battle for the title of best NJ boardwalk pizza this one is a real strong contender for the top spot. Like is the 'Pepsi Challenge', bite for bite you might be tempted to choose other pizza joints. But eat a slice or three and you'll see why Maruca's is Coca-Cola of Boardwalk Pizza.

I had the slice so big I couldn't finish it. The table also got 12 inch meat lovers, which is a very accurate description. Off season, so prices are low.

Delicious pizza! Haven't had in over 15 years and it was wonderful to experience once again with my daughter who also loved the pizza! Can't wait to return!

Expensive. Nasty host. Refused to allow me and 3 kids to use a table after ordering a lot of food because we ordered on the boardwalk. We tried to sit and were kicked off the table and told it’s for inside diners only even after spending over $100 and the tables were right next to the place I ordered. No one told me this u til after I ordered of course. Not kidding friendly at all and stared us down so we wouldn’t use the table the entire time we ate. Awful. Will never spend another dime there again.

We were 6 adults and 3 kids and ordered 1 large pie with buffalo chicken and a side of calamari. The calamari wasn’t bad. Pizza was delicious. After a wait of about 15-20 minutes we got our pizza and they messed up our order. We had to wait for another 15-20 minutes to get the right one. The pie was fresh and it was sufficient for all of us

Crispy and soft crust, sauce was good and seasoned. Would order a fresh pizza next time to probably get a better idea of what is offered.

I'm so glad we finally made it to Maruca’s on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. We tried their famous tomato pie, and it did not disappoint. The crust and tomato sauce were spot on, and the fresh mozzarella and basil made for a perfect margarita pie. Without a doubt, it's the best pie on the boardwalk. The service was also exceptionally friendly and welcoming. At one point, an older gentleman, possibly the owner, stopped by to personally thank us for visiting—how rare is that these days? Big thumbs up to this place; it's a must-visit when you're at the Seaside boardwalk!

I owned a pizza shop in Nantucket for 21 years. I was told that this place had amazing pizza. Right they were! Crispy, tasty, great ratio of crust, sauce, cheese..very happy. Damon, the bartender, nice guy.
