Decided to drive down to Seaside Heights for the day on 4/30/25 & have a couple of sausage sandwiches from Midway on the boardwalk. 2 sandwiches & 2 medium drinks cost us $32. Way overpriced considering how small the sausage pieces were from past years. They used to be big & juicy. Yesterday they were thinner & dried out, & they had just opened up at 12:00pm, only 20 minutes b4 we ordered them. Very very disappointed in the size, taste, & cost. Used to always look forward to going there, but not anymore.

Great junk food ! I've been going there since the 70s. Goid hor dogs , burgers and fries. Price is a bit high but it's still good.

It’s the worst hot dog I’ve ever had in my life, the bun was so bad !! The cheese steak that my friends ordered was bad too. Did not taste good at all!!

I don't know if this is the right place. But there's this outdoor bar that is awesome to chill at. Catch the ocean breeze under shade with a nice cold beer. I had a Beach Bum. It's two beers mixed together. I can't remember the names but it was awesome.

I recently visited a restaurant named Midway, and I had a mixed experience. The cheese balls were absolutely fantastic – crispy on the outside and perfectly gooey on the inside, with a rich, flavorful cheese that melted in your mouth. They were definitely the highlight of the meal and something I would highly recommend to anyone. However, the cheesesteak was quite a letdown. It lacked the robust flavor and tender texture that you'd expect from a great cheesesteak. The meat was dry and overcooked, and the cheese didn't have that creamy, melted consistency that makes a cheesesteak special. To top it off, the meal was quite expensive for what I got, which added to the disappointment. Overall, while the cheese balls were a delightful treat, the cheesesteak left much to be desired, especially considering the high price.

The sausage sandwich with onions peppers and red gravy is amazing. We look forward to getting it every year, every time we go down the shore. It’s a staple for us. It was still as delicious as ever.

I was walking down the Boardwalk in Seaside Heights and I kept seeing on the menus something called ‘Cheeseballs’ and they sounded so good I had to have some before I left for the day. I had passed Midway Steakhouse earlier in the day and then I saw all the food cooking in front of me and almost had a cheesesteak. The Cheeseballs called me so I order them. They are basically a round mozzarella sticks that they serve with red sauce. They were so good! I will save the cheesesteak for another time. The rest of the food that was cooking looked good well and the sausage sandwich. I will have to go back the next time I am in town. The service was really nice and they are very quick with the orders.
We look forward to midway every year but this year it was the same as all the food on the walk and even in town. Undercooked They didn’t even have a line and they where rushing between customers having a bad attitude if you where ready immediately and then gave me under cooked sausage, onions and peppers along with undercooked fries loaded in grease. It’s almost as if they don’t care because your just on vacation and not a regular customer well this yearly repeat customer will think twice before returning to this 15 plus year tradition
