we always eat here when we’re in Lava - breakfast is yummy, very friendly service, nice atmosphere - and a customer parking lot, get there early as it gets busy around 8am

Loved Sunny Hunny, but....I will not return to a place that charges you extra for TOAST with your eggs and for using credit cards. I know they won't miss me going there but word of mouth has its consequences.....wise up people.
Response to the owner ...Your server DID charge more for using a credit card AND when my wife wanted 2 eggs over light with home fries toast WAS an EXTRA CHARGE....
Maybe you need to know what is going on in your own place ! But you really don't need to worry ,because we as well as our company will not be there again.
We did find another place,case closed.

I had an incredibly unpleasant experience. We were sat down in the back of the restaurant and ignored. Another couple who was Caucasian was sat across from us and served immediately. After bringing this to the stands’a attention, they said they would be over shortly to take our order and never came so we left. If you are a person of color, please avoid this establishment at all cost. They don’t want our business. If you notice, they have responded to most reviews but have not addressed any regarding racial discrimination. Despicable and disgusting.

I love this place! Sunny Hunny is a family run seasonal staple in our area. I usually get the eggs and pancakes with bacon and never a complaint. My husband loves the eggs Benedict, said it’s one of the best he’s had.
The staff is very friendly and it’s nice to see a lot of the same faces every season. Speaks volumes when staff returns every year. The owners are known to walk around check in with customers.
Great place by the beach. Definitely worth eating at and give the eggs Benedict a try!

It’s a cute little breakfast spot with fun beach decor and good music. The service is very good. However, for the price the food was not worth the money. The bacon was very good but the rest was just so so.
