“Cute little place. Waitress was lovely. Food was decent. Nothing to really go crazy and rave about. Very very pricey. More expensive than center city steakhouses! Hated the weird dim led lighting. Guitar guy was fun. Wine was good. We would return but wouldn’t rush back. SP has limited options so, God Bless. Don’t blame you for charging top $. Atmosphere was much nicer than Chef Mike ABG. Updated and clean! A plus for that. Thank you for a fun night 🥰 Bring on summer”

“Good Coffee/Smoothie Shop (truly one of the only Coffee Shops) in the section of Seaside Park. Wildly overpriced for good food, nothing great or special warranting the price, and service is slow. Unfortunately, there is nowhere to sit and wait as they prepare your coffee, smoothie, yogurt, etc., so patrons are left awkwardly standing and shuffling around to adjust to the ebb and flow of the crowd.
Far too much ice, for an already chilled cold brew coffee and the yogurt was indeed good, but for $9.75, overpriced…
As mentioned there are not a lot of opinions in this section of the peninsula, so I will revert back to having my coffee at home.”

“I work on the boardwalk in seaside heights cleaning the boards and the last several weekends I’ve come there to get pretzels and there always fresh, hot and very enjoyable and it’s always the same 2 young lady’s working and they always have a smile on there face and always very polite job well done!”

“This place has amazing food in a beautiful location….on the beach! Chef Mike was so gracious and generous when he agreed to have our wedding at his restaurant. The staff were amazing! “I just wanted to reach out & thank your staff on duty from Friday 8/18 Especially Rod/Ron the Manager (my apologies I don't remember his name exactly) for outstanding customer service! We were at the restaurant Friday evening. It was the last night of our family Seaside Vacation and our first time dining at The Sawmill. We were seated promptly(young hostess with curly hair and an air cast), drinks & food orders were taken very quickly(female server with dark curly hair and an accent). Our beverages came out in a flash, and our appetizers were moments behind. When my teenage son reached across for some tasty pretzel bites...he knocked his full orange soda into his lap (and shirt) , onto the floor, & even onto me! We sent him to the restroom to try and clean himself up while we motioned for help, we didn't want anyone to slip on the wet floor! Within seconds your staff responded in the best possible way. Your manager was mopping up the floor, our server was bringing a replacement soda, one of the ladies bussing tables hustled over with towels. By the time my son returned from the restroom my husband and I were discussing how to proceed (Run back to the house to change or by new clothes on the boardwalk) when Rod/Ron appeared on bended knee next to my son with Sawmill t-shirts in tow asking his size so he could change his shirt. My son initially refused because; it was "all his fault & he didn't deserve it" but; Rod/Ron persisted and convinced my son that these kinds of things happen to everyone. A point I was just making to my child, when my son heard this he accepted. The way your staff responded in the moment took what could have been an awful end to our vacation into a very bright spot because of how attentive and supportive your staff was. It means more than you will ever know. Please take a moment & thank your staffers on our behalf. Thank you, Monica, Andy, & AJ Mossey”

“Great laid back atmosphere for fun drinks and live music. BUT people need to clean up after themselves and staff needs to wipe tables down in between customers. Over the weekend there was trash all over the sand and sticky tables.”

“This is the best pizza place on the entire boardwalk!!! My kids love their pizza and it's always a "must stop" on the boardwalk for us. The food is always fresh, there is a large seating area and the best part is that they are open all year round! Also you can order online if you don't feel like leaving the house. Highly recommending it!”

“It was a nice restaurant with good views and live musics! It’s connected to their arcade so you can enjoy both. Food was good and staffs were friendly. It’s kind of expensive but if you consider the location I think it can be reasonable. I really enjoyed the music and atmosphere there too. It was nice :)”

“We stopped on the way home from Island beach state park. The crew that worked here were super super friendly and nice. The ice cream was one of the best I've ever had. We'll for sure stop again next time we go to island beach state park or maybe we'll just take a ride there anyway it was worth it. Shout out to the employees they were great

“Walked in ordered walked hot with 2 hot cups of house blend took as long as if I did it myself. Line for specialty drinks but well staffed. Good cup of coffee THANKS”
