“Cute little place. Waitress was lovely. Food was decent. Nothing to really go crazy and rave about. Very very pricey. More expensive than center city steakhouses! Hated the weird dim led lighting. Guitar guy was fun. Wine was good. We would return but wouldn’t rush back. SP has limited options so, God Bless. Don’t blame you for charging top $. Atmosphere was much nicer than Chef Mike ABG. Updated and clean! A plus for that. Thank you for a fun night 🥰 Bring on summer”

“I just wanted to reach out & thank your staff on duty from Friday 8/18 Especially Rod/Ron the Manager (my apologies I don't remember his name exactly) for outstanding customer service! We were at the restaurant Friday evening. It was the last night of our family Seaside Vacation and our first time dining at The Sawmill. We were seated promptly(young hostess with curly hair and an air cast), drinks & food orders were taken very quickly(female server with dark curly hair and an accent). Our beverages came out in a flash, and our appetizers were moments behind. When my teenage son reached across for some tasty pretzel bites...he knocked his full orange soda into his lap (and shirt) , onto the floor, & even onto me! We sent him to the restroom to try and clean himself up while we motioned for help, we didn't want anyone to slip on the wet floor! Within seconds your staff responded in the best possible way. Your manager was mopping up the floor, our server was bringing a replacement soda, one of the ladies bussing tables hustled over with towels. By the time my son returned from the restroom my husband and I were discussing how to proceed (Run back to the house to change or by new clothes on the boardwalk) when Rod/Ron appeared on bended knee next to my son with Sawmill t-shirts in tow asking his size so he could change his shirt. My son initially refused because; it was "all his fault & he didn't deserve it" but; Rod/Ron persisted and convinced my son that these kinds of things happen to everyone. A point I was just making to my child, when my son heard this he accepted. The way your staff responded in the moment took what could have been an awful end to our vacation into a very bright spot because of how attentive and supportive your staff was. “I work on the boardwalk in seaside heights cleaning the boards and the last several weekends I’ve come there to get pretzels and there always fresh, hot and very enjoyable and it’s always the same 2 young lady’s working and they always have a smile on there face and always very polite job well done!”

“We stopped on the way home from Island beach state park. The crew that worked here were super super friendly and nice. The ice cream was one of the best I've ever had. We'll for sure stop again next time we go to island beach state park or maybe we'll just take a ride there anyway it was worth it. Shout out to the employees they were great

“This place is amazing. My family and I stopped in for a quick bite while on the boardwalk. We ordered a whole pie and holy guacamole that pie was enough for my two hungry kiddos and my wife and I. We had enough left over to feed us for the week! The Three Brothers by the sawmill is by far the best pizza around!”

“The flounder basket was excellent- lightly battered with plenty of fresh French fries. The surprise gem was the spicy pineapple hot dog. It the bun was a bit more stable it would have been a blue ribbon winner. Bartender Steve was welcoming and attentive.”

“We attended an evening meal.
The food was fantastic. The selection and the suplement closing while we dined was the only drawback. The supplement menu was going to be closed which made us rush our order.
The drinks were great and even made to order. They came in a decent amount of time well done.
Easy parking
The staff I have to say should be commended. They were there when we needed and supportive and friendly throughout the meal. I will be honest we had a difficult personality with us but the staff had him smiling and happy. Again great staff!

The setup of the location is down a long corridor. With a very long walk to the end if you need the restrooms. You need to pass the kitchen (VERY CLEAN!!) and an event space.
When we attended the restaurant was not packed but it was still very loud.

Beyond that a wonderful place, wonderful meal, and a wonderful night.

“Wow The best Italian restaurant at the jersey shore if you go Friday or Saturday you better get a reservation I would suggest you get one during the week also to be safe. Byob food and atmosphere are outstanding and the hostess waitresses and owner are so nice they make you feel like you were invited to their home for Sunday dinner with the family.”
