Food was great. Pretty quick for made to order. Prices were typical for the area. Only thing that bothered me was so many flies landing on the baked goods. Doors were all closed and AC was on but it was very warm and flies. But if you look past that the made to order food was good!
They pile on the meat. You will never ask “Where's the beef.†Giant subs and priced accordingly. Breakfast sandwich, pastries, cookies, crumb cake... you name it they have in in a small sandwich shop. Order ahead on weekends as they do get backed up.
The new location (on the right side just before Island Beach State Park) isn't the same as it was in the past. Under new ownership, the deli isn't as neat or as well stocked. Hands-down Ebby's is still the absolute BEST for subs. The sub sandwiches are huge. Meats are freshly sliced and subs are made to order. We had two whole Ebby's specials (Italian) with the works.
