Island Beach Fish Company

The flounder basket was excellent- lightly battered with plenty of fresh French fries. The surprise gem was the spicy pineapple hot dog. It the bun was a bit more stable it would have been a blue ribbon winner. Bartender Steve was welcoming and attentive.

It has a nice little courtyard outside but that is the only redeeming feature. The food was absolutely terrible, the server stopped at the table once to take the order and we had to hunt her down for utensils and then again for the check. The only reason to come here is to waste your time and money.

Much better than last year, but a long way to go. Love the design, the vibe,
and the sushi but for some reason there are always different busines practices every time you go. Love High Tide Coffee, but why cant it be ordered and served directly from the restaurant. Also is it too much to ask for a decent price per item, a fare amount and prices on the menu!!!
Tweek these things and a new institution will be born on the island.

Great place for an outdoor drink near the water. We stopped in after our usual post beach day place the red fox in ibsp was swamped. The shrimp tempura roll was very tasty.

Parking: This place is like any other place at the shore. There is no room for a lot so you park where you can.

The only food that's worthy of buying is the sushi. Everything else not so good. Chloe the bartender was a sweetheart and was attentive and engaging. Loved the outside bars so will return for the service and atmosphere

I wanted to like this place so much but the food was not good. The outside is very cute, much better then the inside. They had enough staff, service was okay. We got one of the burgers which was good. Then a plain pizza, it was not good. Tasted like nothing, the crust was good but they need different cheese and sauce. The pulled pork tasted like something frozen in a food store. And the BBQ honey sauce they use tasted like maple syrup, they need to change that. I got the sword fish bites, again not good. They were covered in way too much breading, I couldn't even finish them they chard them to death. And also they give you 4 small little bites for $16. My sangrina had literally no wine. This place needs to improve their food and they over charge.

Blackened scallops are good, but they only give you three(3) for $18 plus tax and tip!! 3 !!

Outside atmosphere and live music definitely pull off the lazy beach vibe! The seafood is amazingly fresh and delicious. The Blue Point oysters were plump and delicious and paired with a spicy margarita..OMG! Sushi was really good! Margarita pizza was acceptable, the other versions look good I will come back to try. The place was packed with people fresh off the beach for a cold beer and snack for lunch/dinner. Make this a stop during the summer months!

The atmosphere in the vibe is really nice outdoor swing chairs at the bar you have to try the scallops delicious

Recommended dishes: Blackened Scallops, Edamame, Fish and Chips

Pros: Kitchen staff was nice and very helpful. Pizza, flounder, mozzarella sticks, and tuna poke bowl were tasty!
Cons: Besides pizza, portions are very small (3 scallops for $18 and only two were edible, third undercooked). It is very loud indoors so wait the half hour to be seated outside. Bar was understaffed, having to wait on all bar patrons and tables ordering food. Food staggered so that last plate brought out had to be boxed to go. Bill had an unexpected added price for paying credit (instead of cash). Waitstaff added their own $100 tip.

Very grateful to the owner who looked into the incorrect added charge. Jerry gave us peace of mind and was beyond helpful in our dilemma.

We love the Island Beach fish company. Great food and a great place to get drinks! Great breakfast on the weekends!

I sat around the bar outside.

But wait. Asked for a tag to wipe the wet barstools. Young and distracted “bartender” handed me a rag instead of offering to wipe it off and do her job.
Sat for 15 minutes while two “employees” chatted about trying to find an excuse to leave early. I said out loud “Thats obvious enough” maybe hoping my sarcasm would get them to work and actually ask me for a drink order. Rather “bartender” took a sip of an alcoholic drink of her customer. Time to go across the streett Bum Rogers.

I like the new addition to the outdoor bar and the stage for music.
My dad loves that they play the stones music all the time.
