I absolutely love Playa Bowls. Prior to this summer I would typically pass these places by. But this summer I tried it with my daughter and have eaten here everyday I am in NJ. They opened a new location at Rt. 9 and Cox Crow. Sparkling new, super clean and the entire staff is well trained and customer centric. I always leave happy!!
The bowls are the best açaí bowls we’ve ever had and there’s something even better about eating them on the boardwalk in the ocean air. The staff is friendly and quick. But no one ever cleans the tables. They are so disgusting my kids don’t want to go there anymore. If it was my establishment I would send someone out with a rag and hot bucket of water to clean the tables once an hour. I doubt they are cleaned once a day. Great vegan smoothies and smoothie bowl options! Playa Bowls always have great vegan options and the smoothies are always fantastic. It’s a bit pricy, but it’s worth it from time to time. It’s nice to have vegan options!
