Went here for the first time with my boyfriend and his family for his 22nd birthday. Waiter seemed like he had an attitude and was looking everywhere else while taking our order. Food came out for everyone BUT the birthday boy. Cornbread was so dry. Mac and Cheese very overhyped. Birthday boy didn’t receive his food until we were about to leave so we just took it to go and he didn’t even want it in the end when we got home. He was so excited to come here and try it and it completely ruined his night. On top of all of that, there was a mandatory gratuity which was HIGHLY undeserved. I would’ve tipped $0 if it was up to me. Don’t even waste your time and money on this place. NEVER AGAIN. Wish I could give this place zero stars if I could.

Great staff, fast service, and decent prices! I really love the size of the wings, and the Henny Colada is always a hit. Our family of five spent about $220 including a $28 gratuity, and both my wife and I had alcoholic beverages. Overall, great experience and definitely worth it!

Big portions, delicious, and the Texas sized drinks were worth it

Food is nasty as hell. Anybody that likes this doesn't know what real barbecue or soulfood is supposed to taste like. We got our food. Took two bites, paid the bill and got up and left. Went across the street to eat after. Dallas BBQ is bootleg barbecue. No flavor.

By far the most disappointing experience the saving grace was the place was clean. The place was empty so we figure this will be great. After walking in to a person who seem she did not want to be there and had on a pull over hoodie. we had to ask to be seated somewhere else. The service seemed rushed for sure I ordered a pineapple Long Island definately not what I asked for it was something with 2 extra shots and pink moscato wine at extra charges. Both me and my friend was annoyed already the food came out not what we ordered. I asked for dark meat and pork ribs I got white meat and beef ribs at extra charge my friend ordered baked potato with sour cream on the side they gave him French fries then told him oh yea they don’t have any potatoes. Clearly the kitchen and front house don’t communicate with menu items. There was a guy walking around taking photos printed them then asked which one we would like to buy with picture frame that said NYC even though we’re in the NJ location. The ribs were drowned in bbqsauce and clearly placed on the bone. I know ribs and the cut of ribs given does not come on the bone that was given and maybe the restaurant is going through budget cuts but the ribs was definitely a fatty bad cut. Plus they pre added gratuity of 20% automatically on the bill I definately reserve the right to add my own gratuity. Maybe definately write down the order no matter how long you been doin the job. All of the front house should not be all congregating in the front gossiping looking disheveled. For the service and food we got $130 was too much for 2 people. The money wouldn’t matter had the food and service actually been good. I mean I would even settle for decent. But this place sub par for sure I will never be back there or at any Dallas Bbq again unfortunately.

First time coming to the Secaucus location but I’ve went to the Times Square location many times. Food tastes the same to me and the Henny Colada is always a must for me when in Dallas BBQs. Parking can be confusing but it’s inside an underground building and you can just walk a minute or so to the restaurant. Staff was very welcoming. Smaller than the Times Square location and not as busy on a Sunday afternoon but better for me cause Times Square is very busy. Our waitress with the Yankee fitted I believe was very polite and outgoing and amazing. Free Dessert as well.

Tried the food for the first time recently and I had a pretty bad first impression. The place was completely empty which so I didn't understand why the waitress was nowhere to be found. The staff were all hanging out at the front and in the meantime I needed a refill (glasses of water and drinks are super small), missing sauces, and missing items. They also handed me the world's nastiest looking tarter sauce cups that looked like they dropped on the floor but they decided to hand them out to customers anyway because they were cracked and the tarter sauce qas dripping out of the sides. I unfortunately had to ask the busses for new ones cuz I didn't know where my waitress or any waitress was for that matter. You should be giving the same service to a crowded restaurant that you do to an empty restaurant. The food was just ok. I did appreciate the size of the wings and the sauces but most of the food was nothing to rave about. Had I had a better experience I mightve tried again but I don't think I would.

Service was quick and excellent. Food very good just wish the side salad a a little bit bigger as well as the piece of quarter chicken. So glad Dallas BBQ is now in NJ.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. My family had a bad experience trying to celebrate my grandson birthday. The food was not tasteful at all. We are aware the of the size of the sticky wings but these were huge for no reason, no season and not done. The brisket was pink and chewy. We sent that back for the chicken and waffles not knowing they have scallions and cheese in the waffles with pickles. Horrible and disgusting. The manager was aware of these issues and adjusted our bill but we still spent $286.00 to go home with food poisoning. My family was so sick we couldn’t make it to work or school the next day. I am truly dissatisfied and disappointed. I tried to reach out to the manager to let them know how sick we were, I have not received a response.

Love this BBQ in Secaucus. Amazing service as always from Ayanna. She has been at this location since they first opened. I wish I saw her more often because she is amazing. No other waitress is like her!!
