Highly recommended! Delicious.
The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious as always. Our server Leontta (sp?) was great and checked on is often to make sure we had what we needed. I always have a great experience when I eat here.
Amazing experience at KPot! We loved the atmosphere and the food was great. I recommend trying the Beef Bulgogi. What really made night was our server Emily N. She took the time to engage with us and truly made the night more enjoyable. I highly recommend asking to be sat in Emily N’s section!
This is a review of the Harrisburg, PA Location I am still boiling mad. Boiling more than my hot pot was. And it's a shame because my food was delicious. But I will never come back. First of all, we are a hot pot family. Have dined in many varieties of hot pot restaurants and love them. Seeing one open up in Harrisburg, PA was very exciting for us. We came with our party of 8. Of course we opted for both the hot pot and the BBQ. Our server's name was Dory. She was friendly enough but not the most attentive as our plates were not usually cleared by her and we had to ask her for more water. This didn't bother me overall because there were other team members that were very attentive. As far as the dining experience went, we didn't love it. The tablet ordering system seems fun in theory but the tablet had to be reset multiple times, and often we didn't get items we ordered. And again, there were 8 of us so we were confused with what we ordered as we passed the thing around. The food was plentiful and good. I loved the sauces and the desserts and the appetizers. So food wise, we were very satisfied. This is where I turned what might have been a 3.5-4 star experience right down to a 1. Dory brought us the check and said to us that there is a "mandatory tip of 18%" She said it like this "For parties of 6 or more there is a mandatory 18% tip. It's not on here but you can put it on your card or give me cash or venmo. I prefer the latter, You can give me more than 18% too". That immediately turned us off. We are good tippers but to ask this way really rubbed me wrong. With the service experience we had we were tempted to tip less than 18% but common decency led us to leave an 18% cash tip. We paid the bill with a card. I laid the tip on the tablet. When we left she lingered and was looking quickly at the table and then looked at her credit card machine and then looked at us and literally followed us out the door. Then she says to me "Excuse me, I am sorry, but did you tip me?" I said "UM, yeah its on the table and I am finding it really odd that you're asking me this" She did not respond as she went running to get her tip. I was so mad I wish I could have thought faster to run ahead of her and grab up some of that tip. We work hard for our money and she definitely didn't earn what we gave her. I am so angry with how she was. Who does that? Chases a customer down for a tip! She did say at one point, "Come see me again. My name is Dory, like the fish". I can tell you one thing for sure. I will NEVER come here again as long as Dory is working. And I will do everything I can to make sure others know this too. She does not belong in the service industry.
Hi, I'm writing regarding a disappointing experience at the KPOT location in Kearny: 230-240 Passaic Ave Kearny, NJ, 7032 We arrived at 6:30 PM and were seated, but completely ignored until 7 PM - by then, it was too late to order a happy hour drink. I spoke with a manager who said there was nothing he could do because the system had already shut down. We waited 45 minutes just for rice, while the rest of our food sat untouched. The restaurant was not even busy. I called the waitress over twice, but we were ignored again. Half our meal was eaten without water or drinks, and by that point, my boyfriend and I were both disappointed. We had really been looking forward to dinner. Unfortunately, this visit completely changed our perception of KPOT. We've had great experiences in the past, but this one was enough to make us not want to return. When it came time to pay, the staff seemed confused about our table and attempted to charge us for hotpot soup we never received. My boyfriend had to correct them. When we were handed the tablet to leave feedback, the manager quickly closed the review screen before we could write anything. Management was aware we were unhappy and made no effort to address the situation. We paid full price for a terrible experience, and I wasn't even going to write reviews ( google / yelp / social media ) until I realized how blatantly we were being IGNORED. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a negative review, which speaks to how disappointing this experience was. I truly hope someone from corporate can acknowledge what happened and help make it right. Thank you!

Came for AYCE Hotpot & we really enjoyed it! Price is reasonable and the quality was better than I expected. Tomato broth was good, but I would prefer a stronger tomato flavor. The meat were all sliced thicker than your typical hotpot places. We really liked the Prime Brisket, which is only a dinner menu item. You each get your own individual pot and you order through the iPad. There are a lot of seafood and vegetables options, more than meat. There’s also a hot food bar and side dishes, which I’ve never seen at a hotpot or BBQ place before. Place is pretty big as well. I would definitely come back again.

Even though KPOT has 4.8 stars, it really should have 5! Absolutely loved my full experience from beginning to end. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in, were super friendly, and sat us almost immediately. The facility itself was really nice - high ceilings, clean, comfy chairs, and a good amount of space between tables.
Once seated, we decided to do hot pot and it’s such a great price - $34.99 for all you can eat pp, and there were a plethora of choices from the hot pot to the buffet to the dessert, all inclusive! I got the Tom Kha broth - I like spicy, and this def had some spice - and my partner got the miso broth. What’s nice is you order from an iPad and you can keep ordering from there, and the food will come out as it’s ready. We got everything from shrimp dumplings to pumpkin to ramen to bok choy to three types of mushrooms…just to name a few. Def don’t skip the buffet that they have - they have a myriad of sauces, and even have recipes of your own you can make. I made a peanut sauce that elevated the food.
What was especially outstanding was the service. Our server Daya was so kind and helpful, she made our meal that much better. She was one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time, and we hope to have her as our waitress in the future!
So so excited to come back again soon!

Could be better, the price was a high but the food wasn’t too good. Take extra $20 as they have taxes and some hidden fees.

To get so much meat at this price in Midtown, it’s a gem. All-you-can-eat with a choice of hot pot or barbecue.
It's cheap
