I never thought I’d write a bad review about Plank Road Inn. Since being in there myself and anyone who I brought in loves that place the food is amazing the chef does an amazing job. However last week, really took the cake. The bartender eventhough she takes good care of us occasionally in the past seemed to be drawn on one side of the bar. There were a couple times where we had to walk over to the side of the bar to get her attention. And when we did it felt like we were bothering. I felt that really was displeasing. We’d gladly come back on Sundays but after that experience I’m 50/50 on it.
Old school Secaucus dive. Family owned by townies with a great vibe.
Food is always good here
Greg and Andrew are excellent with their customer service. Food is delicious and service is great!
Decent selection of beer, booze, and food. Bar servers are usually very friendly and helpful. Lots of TV sports, and a jukebox. Nice place to sit for a drink or a bite.
Parking: Some street parking, and parking lot across the street. Pay attention to signs. Loading areas on street, dedicated parking spots in lot during certain hours. Local enforcement isn't terrible, but tickets are never any fun.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not very accessible. There is a door down side alley that meets sidewalk level to interior floor. But bathrooms are up a few stairs. Bathrooms are probably roomy enough to move around or get assistance if that's an issue.

Last night I went to enjoy the game of Argentina and Colombia, trying to spend a nice night, but a bartender who works there and who was angry about the Triumph of Argentina, when I played music, she turned off the sound, its bother me , I hope she doesn't get the same to other clients, not because she works there she has the right to treat customers badly

I recently visited Plank Road Inn in Secaucus, NJ, and had a great experience. The place has a homely feel with a unique railroad car layout that adds a special charm. The catered food was good, and there was plenty of beer to enjoy. The outdoor areas were delightful and free of insects, which made the experience even better.
However, the service from the waitress and bartenders was just average. Despite that, the clean bathrooms and well-kept trash areas were a plus. Parking was convenient with ample space available across the street in an outdoor lot. The prices were reasonable, and the crowd was friendly and local. I even noticed a little league baseball celebration taking place, making it a child-friendly spot. Overall, Plank Road Inn is a solid choice for a casual and enjoyable dive bar type outing.
