This was our first visit to this diner. I made a reservation for noon. After 30 minutes of waiting (standing room only), our reservation was given to another party. Despite realizing their error, the host and hostess continued to seat the other party. We then waited an additional 15 minutes to be seated. We had no issues with our server as she was attentive and polite. However, the food left much to be desired. Most of our parties' entrees were OK. The coconut shrimp, nachos and chili appetizers were good. Salad sides was inconsistent, either over-dressed or no dressing at all. The buffalo wings were tough yet pink in the center. Steak (requested medium) and eggs were sent back as the steak was raw. Once returned, the steak was well done and tough. The espresso was over extracted and very bitter. Very disappointing as this was a brunch for an 80th birthday. Had we not had an elderly person with mobility issues, we would have promptly left after our reservation was given to another party.

I'm giving this restaurant a mid-level rating because I want to like it and will give it a 2nd chance. The service was very nice and I think the ambience is fun. But the food was kind of mediocre. My wifes avocado toast was pretty inedible and my Reuben was kind of slimy-tasteless. But the desserts were fantastic! Kudos on the applie pie and mutli-layer cake!

The quality of ingredients is outstanding. You get a lot of organic grass fed ingredients. The service is superb in a very clean and customer friendly environment. The pastrami sandwich is a must!

Had Dads 79th bday for Saturday night and went well. I requested my fam to be seated near the big Carnegie hall pic since my Dad loves anything music & its a nice backdrop for pics. Our waitress was excellent, friendly patient and got what was needed. She helped bring out the bday cake we brought and even came out with her crew to sing for my Dads bday which made it even special. Overall, food was good for a diner, better than the standard, ambiance was nice, clean modern yet nostalgic feel with all the musical legends on the their walls. Was great night.

Food & service are always very good. Nice to be able to sit outside until the end of summer. The only issue I have ever had is if you order something that is not exactly as they serve it, it doesn't come out as ordered. I ordered a chili burger with nothing but the burger(with the chili, cheese & onions & fries but I still got the salad, pickle, & lettuce & tomato which I had to remove.

This was my first time in a Carnegie Deli and it was fantastic. This Southern girl loved the Ruben and the Pastrami sandwiches. The salad and slaw were delicious as well. Also tried the Brooklyn Lager that was delicious

First time here for lunch with my cousin and will be back. Spacious, clean and inviting inside. Plenty of parking in the rear garage. Plentiful portions of fresh food and the cocktails are imaginative. Will be back with my family

It was a great find!! The food was great! The service was great also! The host even gave our kids dolls a menu and chairs, our kids were so excited!! It is clean and nicely decorated!! Can't wait to come back next year!
