One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Stayed there for 3 nights and tried Breakfest sandwich, breakfast burrito and avocado toast. All of them were delicious, especially the avocado toast. Very fresh and well seasoned. Totally recommend.

loudest hotel I've ever stayed in...didn't sleep fir more than 3 minute spurts every 30 minutes..all you hear is traffic all night, street cleaners , dumpsters getting emptied , you are in an industrial park.. mattress ok.pilliws sucked..no hot water..the hearing unit ac unit was so loud you couldn't keep it on to drown out traffic and overnight operations outside..smelled awful in hallway..parking lot shares with other businesses..driving around like nuts to find one..no amenities...coffee stand was open fir 10 minutes downstairs which was basic Starbucks bagged coffee not real Starbucks quality, there is one down the street which was goid...probably shoukd of slept there would have been better..terrible
I've been traveling to this area for years for a yearly scuba diving tradeshow. I've only recently joined the Marriott program so this was my first time staying here. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and in fact will stay again next year. As several other reviewers have mentioned its very convenient to the Meadowlands Expo Center, and also to Manhattan via a bus that leaves from a stop right by the hotel and only takes 15 minutes to get to the heart of NYC for $8.50 roundtrip. There's also several restaurants in the immediate area along with a huge movie theatre. The room was clean (and serviced daily which is a very nice return to normal) and there were plenty of electric outlets etc. Everyone on the staff that I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful. Makes me glad I'm in the Marriott program now. I'll definitely be staying here again next year.
Stayed for 2 nights while visiting New York in December. Staff were very helpful and accommodating giving recommendations on travelling into the city. Its an easy 15-20 min bus ride to the Port Authority bus terminal . Be careful to avoid rush hour as this extends the travel time. The bus number is 320 and cost 8.50 return can you purchase tickets at the bus stop. Hotel is clean and updated, does not include breakfast but is available to purchase. We used a taxi from Newark which cost aprox 90.00- next time we would use the train from the airport into the city and then take the bus. On the last day we used the "luggage hero" app to store our luggage to take advantage of the day
As I was watching tv, I saw a mouse run from underneath the bed across the room! I was screaming which woke my husband. He started to move our luggage and sure enough it was a good size mouse scurrying around in the floor. My husband called the front desk. They sent another room key for 5 floors higher! Are you serious??? We checked out and night supervisor kept offering 5000 points. Absolutely unacceptable for a Marriott establishment. I contacted corporate and no response....not even an auto-reply. Oh, and rats are outside near the Outback Restaurant. This hotel needs a good scrubbing and an exterminator ASAP!!!!
We would probably stay here again for the location, alone. The bus stop to NYC is next door with an under 15 min commute. The hotel was not terrible, but not outstanding. The room was clean, good wifi, free parking lots in attached garage (not secure/gated), next to Walmart for travel needs, mini fridge, pullout couch, TV on swivel mount. Some disappointments - housekeeping only came every other day, no safe in room (must use lockbox at front desk), and very loud. You can hear absolutely everything, including people peeing in other rooms.
Checking in was quick and smooth. Rooms clean and comfortable and parking was free and convenient. Hotel can do a better job offering free dispensed fruit flavored water in the lobby to guest. Bus to NYC was right next to the hotel easy access. I did not care for our house keeping lady. She acted like couldn't open her mouth to speak when we said hello to her. The second day she never cleaned our room until we went to complain to the front desk that our room hadn't been cleaned. She finally came around 3:30, when I was in the bathroom. My husband asked her to give us 5min since I was in the bathroom. She fussed at him saying she was not coming back then proceeded to walk in to clean, She then fussed saying we needed to leave the room. Once again my husband explained that I was in the bathroom. When I came we left the room. After returning we noticed the floors were not vacuumed and hair was still in the shower. For the money we spent service should've been top notch! This was the worst Marriott experience.
Amazing ? Coffee and food made the way you want it. Milton is amazing and helped us with our trip to NYC! Great advice for us. We will be back again.
