We walked into the Inn at 5:45. No one at the host stand. Pressed the button to be seated as was posted on the host stand. Pressed it again after waiting a minute. Stood in the empty restaurant until 5:50. No one came to seat us, so we left. I now understand why the Inn was empty. We will not be back.

Al and his team were wonderful hosts. Everyone was friendly and professional. The outdoor patio was comfy and had many options for seating: high tops, bar, tables with umbrellas and lounge seating. There were fans blowing which helped in our summer heat and good lightingwhen the sun went down. The live band made an enjoyable experience even better

The stars are for the atmosphere and service only. We went for brunch. There’s an a la carte menu and a menu that includes a breakfast entree, tots, biscuits, and fruit. I ordered a bacon cheddar omelet a la cart because I felt that $25 for the meal that included sides was a little steep, as most restaurants include potatoes and bread with breakfast. The 12.99 “bacon cheddar omelet “ was eggs with cheese on them with a side of bacon. The portion was large, but I would have preferred a smaller portion with potatoes and a biscuit and an actual bacon cheddar omelet. My husband got a Bloody Mary that was literally tomato juice. No alcohol, horseradish, or spices. French toast was pretty good. In short, ridiculous prices for sugar food and drinks. We won’t be back.

Went to Barnsboro Inn for Saturday brunch and it was a great experience from start to finish. We had Blair Mountain’s famous Early Bird and the berries and cream French toast, and both were excellent, fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for in one of the oldest spots in New Jersey, cozy, historic, and full of character. We sat inside, and while the seating was standard, the warm and welcoming vibe made it feel special. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your meal, and appreciate the history around you. I would definitely come back.

First time here today. This is an awesome historic building with historic roots. Customer service was excellent, friendly, and helpful. I got the berry salad which was refreshing, and the meatball sandwich which was excellent. Added the garlic parm to the fries which was great. Also got a cold brew which hit the spot. I would definitely recommend coming here, and if I lived in Jersey I'd come more often.

I had the best brunch at Barnsboro Inn! Came for the biscuits and to catch up with a friend, stayed for the delicious menu, lovely staff & atmosphere.
The staff were so welcoming & gave me a whole tour of the place to choose the best seat in the house, which (in my opinion at the time given the weather conditions) was the outdoor patio for a nice sunny day. The staff was attentive, welcoming and gracious. 5 star reviews all around from the waitress, the table buster, the bartender, to the owner.
The food was phenomenal! The biscuits are some amazing secret recipe, paired with amazing brown sugar butter or dill ranch sauce.
That French toast- had me doing the happy dance in my chair!
Please check out this hidden gem!

There food went downhill. Their food used to be the best around here. Especially the beer battered fries. Now recently the food I got is a different supplier that they order from I assume and it went from a 10/10 to a 1/10. I don’t know what happened it’s like no one cares of the quality there anymore. Would highly recommend not going there unless they start going to back to the food they used to serve.

When you think of Brunch- this place marks All the boxes! Seriously! They have a Beautiful outdoor sitting area, full bar, live music, beautiful rustic indoor seating. The Food was Amazing!!! Not one thing could I say anything negative about. The staff was Great, very accommodating. We even got to meet the owner, Al. He was very hospitable.
