My friend and I finally made it to the Barnsboro Inn for lunch today-really wish we had discovered this gem a long time ago. We couldn’t stop talking about how charming it was inside, beautifully decorated for autumn. Our waitress was perfect-attentive but not hovering. My friend ordered the chicken quesadillas and I had the tavern cheese steak and both were scrumptious. Next time, we plan on going for dinner hopefully when it’s decorated for Christmas.
I just want to be clear, the dining room was full so they were busy which is most likely why what happened, happened.
There was a substitution with my side dish that I wasn't told about, not a huge deal but id still have liked to have been told , the other vegetable was stone cold while the rest of the food was at least warm. Meat was good, the mashed potatoes were kinda blah, tasted more like boxed potatoes.
100% would go back to give them another shot when they aren't so busy.

2nd year in a row we celebrated Thanksgiving at the Barnsboro. Just the two people in their 70's who no longer have the family or the stamina to cook a Thanksgiving meal. The Barnsboro provided us an atmosphere of comradery and a Thanksgiving meal that was not only delicious but also brought back memories of long ago right down to bringing home leftovers the proportion were that large. This place is a true gem.

I took my family to the Barnsboro Inn for Thanksgiving dinner. I can't imagine the experience was much different than that offered by soup kitchens! The drop biscuits resembled golf balls. The salad appeared to be grass clippings and the dressing was rationed to the point of being non- existent. Cranberry sauce was also in short supply and the turkey dinner itself was tasteless. After dinner beverages were never offered. Not a pleasent experience. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

We walked into the Inn at 5:45. No one at the host stand. Pressed the button to be seated as was posted on the host stand. Pressed it again after waiting a minute. Stood in the empty restaurant until 5:50. No one came to seat us, so we left. I now understand why the Inn was empty. We will not be back.

We are there on Wednesday night the food was delicious. We did not know how pet friendly they are, the owner Al was more than welcoming when we arrived. When our waitress came to the table she had a water bowl and some organic treats made by another local business and our boy Blue gobbled them up. I would recommend this eatery to anyone especially if your pup likes to dine out also ! We will be making more trips back
Al and his team were wonderful hosts. Everyone was friendly and professional. The outdoor patio was comfy and had many options for seating: high tops, bar, tables with umbrellas and lounge seating. There were fans blowing which helped in our summer heat and good lightingwhen the sun went down. The live band made an enjoyable experience even better
