I typically order the Detroit style pizza, which is always fantastic from the sauce to the crust to the caramelized cheese edge- never disappoints! But, I have to throw the limelight of this review onto their cheesesteaks. All I can say is, “WOW!” I ordered the cheesesteak on their homemade, sesame seeded sub roll with cooper sharp, fried onions, and banana peppers. The meat, cheese, and veggies were spectacular (all in more than generous proportions), but that roll stole...

I’m sure everything’s decent but don’t order the Caesar wrap, it comes like a football someone tucked in for bed. So unless you’re like me and can eat an oddly-shaped, barely wrapped heap of fillings without dropping any, you’ll probably need a bowl. I’m just built different.

I grew up in Detroit and had a hard time finding a good place for deep dish pizza around here until I found Polizzi's. They make an incredible deep dish! One of my favorite pizza places.
