Salsa Fresca Mexican Restaurant

Called and placed an order for pick up. The lady verified steak enchilada in addition to everything else. Paid in person got home and it was a steak quesadilla. When I called she argued with me saying that’s I did not order it and she knows what I ordered. Tried to explain that when she confirmed the order she said enchilada and not only did my husband and I had the phone on speaker but there was 5 people total who listen to the call. She laughed and said she knew what I ordered. Explained to her I know what I eat from your restaurant and it’s not that. Had to drive down to get a refund which they couldn’t do and they could only give me cash for the price of the steak quesadilla from the menu because I paid on card and that money wasn’t deposited yet to them, apparently.

I ordered a chicken taco bowl I was not expecting it to be shredded chicken the chicken taste more like tuna. I was also surprised there was no music in a Mexican restaurant. We were not offered water, the table was shakey, and the utensil were dirty. The waitress was nice.

Unimpressed. Pina Colada was a watered down water ice. Aweful. Food was bland. One waiter for the whole restaurant. I've had plenty of Mexican food and was very disappointed with this place.
No flavor to the food. Service could be better. They need more than one waiter.

We just had a delicious dinner at Salsa Fresca. We ordered the Grilled Steak and Chicken tacos and Steak and Chicken Fajitas. The tortillas and salsa to start were fresh and delicious too. Our server was very sweet and took good care of us. We recommend for authentic Mexican food.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, very attentive. Im used to eating at authentic Mexican restaurants and love Mexican food. I was a little disappointed, chips were ok, Jamica was good, i ordered a chicken burrito but there burritos aren't even burritos, they had me order a wrap? And only cheese they had was American cheese to put on a burrito but not a burrito but a wrap lol? Portion size was good, but it was wrapped in foil and sliced while wrapped in foil so there was little slivers of foil in the burrito :( . I didn't really enjoy it, American cheese isn't even real cheese, fake American cheese makes me feel gross, was disappointing. I've eatin a ton of authentic Mexican, so to get an Americanized version of Mexican food was not my cup of tea. And was just odd to have to order a burrito as a wrap at a Mexican restaurant and only choice was American cheese lol. I said where's the Oxxo'n or cotija this is like a cheese wizz wrap burrito lol. Not my taste but my friends love it so to each there own.

Food is ok. Service was absolutely terrible. Took over 15 minutes to even place our order. Food came out lukewarm. No one came to ask how the food was and our water and soda were never replaced once or even offered-despite our cups being bone dry. Wanted to place a “to go” order and was told the wait staff would be right back-took another 15 minutes for anyone to stop by our table. We will not be back.

Even with a monstrous to-go order ahead of us, Salsa Fresca came through for us, getting our To Go orders of Fish and Chicken Tacos right and delivering the same amazing taste as dine-in!

I have seen this place for years but never went. My friend is a regular there and wanted to go for her birthday. Everyone loved the food. My Mexican enchilada's were great. My cousin loved her street corn and fajitas. Food is very authentic and fresh. The service was friendly. My only issue was that we were completely overwhelmed with the gross smell of Fabuloso cleanser, floors were a little sticky, and it was very warm in there. We asked them to turn on the AC. Please clean with something less strong or use diluted ammonia!
