Living in the area, always wanted to go to Shamong diner was there on a Sunday and it was busy. The food was good overprice the restroom, however, was not working. I kind of thought this is a violation of health code, but they said no other than that it was all right I probably wouldn’t go back for a diner. It’s too too high priced.

We read the reviews and wanted to try because we LOVE Indian food and are not familiar with the area.We were racing to get there before closing and happily made it in time. The staff was friendly and patient.The food was absolutely delicious and we were quite impressed when the owner Manny took time to introduce himself. ??We could tell by the rapport he had with other customers that they were regulars and the diner is a family style setting.We look forward to returning the next time I am in the area.Next time I definitely want the Samosa Chaat! ?

Stopped by on a hot day after a hike and we were thrilled to be refueled at this awesome diner! I loved that they had a vegetarian and vegan section of the menu. My eggplant parm was delicious. The staff was friendly and owner came to introduce himself to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely come again next time we are in the area.

We found this little gem on the South Jersey Food Scene facebook group. We pulled up the menu and were delighted to see a vegetarian section...off we went!I had the vegetarian thali meal and my wife had a lamb gyro. The flavors of the thali were amazing.As we were halfway through our meal, the owner came over and introduced himself. He spoke a bit about his cooking and told us that Wednesday nights have more Indian meal options! What?! We will be there!Thank you, Mr. Manny, for a delicious meal on a quiet Sunday afternoon! It was a pleasure meeting you.
