Fantastic experience working with Tony and Tory! Cannot say enough about the exceptional way they treat their Customers!
New Jersey is not Napa Valley. Wineries in this area are trying to be more than what they are. They have good wines and nice down home local establishments but recently they are trying to be more. Visiting Valenzano I was just told they don't do tasting anymore. What is this all about. The wine tender tried to justify this saying tasting take too long blah blah blah. I have to call bullshit how do you exhibit your products if don't let people try them. I suspect the driving force is money. We'll count me out. You will not receive any more support from me. You need to come back to reality or face extinction. 🦕 🦖
We held a bridal shower at Valenzano, at the Shamong location, in October and from beginning to end it was am amazing experience. Mary assisted us with planning, picking the space, and selecting the menu and was very helpful and knowledgeable. The food was amazing, space barely needed any decorating, and the bride, bridal party, and guests were extremely satisfied.

Saturday October 4, 2025 was our first time visiting Valenzano Winery in Shamong, NJ! Our host was Gabby! Gabby‘s presentation was phenomenal, her cheery, bubbly personality made it fun, her willingness to go above and beyond, taking her time to explain each of the wines was top notch! Everyone from the staff was really nice but ask for Gabby!
Gabby! Gabby! Gabby! Gabby!
10 out of 10 my favorite winery! Have visited for every wine fest since 2010
Great wine, nice atmosphere, horrible seating. Would kill for a seat with a backrest anywhere in this place.
The ambiance is incredible. I would reccomend sitting outside if you get the chance and the weather is nice. Staff is incredibly attentive and personable. Food is amazing. Would recommend the shrimp po boy and cheesesteak eggs rolls. I had the farm favorite flight and would reccomend it. The waitress Gabby was incredibly sweet , kind , and made great reccomendations. I cannot wait to come back.Happy i celebrated my.birthday here.

Stopped in for a flight. Everything was very good. Cranberry and Shamong red were our favorites. The host was an older gentleman and exceptionally welcoming and friendly.
Great place with great food and wine. We also officially adopted Gabby!
The biggest thing is the service was poor. I felt extremely uncomfortable there. Went on a Saturday evening for dinner and drinks. The place was almost empty. We were a party of two including myself, we were seated at a table in the back room by the window. There was only one other table of two people there. The host gave us water but besides that no one came. 20 minutes past and a couple was seated to the table somewhat near us. They were helped a few minutes later, and still no one came to my table. We kept looking around making it obvious we haven't been helped but no one came. I couldn't help but notice I was the only person of color in the place. My friend and I moved ourselves to the bar and spent the evening there. There I think the women's name is Kathleen? She was lovely. She chatted with us gave us recommendations and made it a nice time. But I still couldn't shake my uncomfortable feeling.
The wine is ok I think most of them would taste better if they aged for some time. Seems very right from the vine. The food was yummy, especially the sweet toast Batch 3 - apples figs and goat cheese I think it was. Very fall flavors and sweet it was good I'd have it again.
The place is pretty but definitely looks and I'm sure functions more as a venue. Even the entrance doesn't look inviting. If I go back it would probably be for a nice dinner and that's all. Or a glass of wine and sit outside where I can't feel the discomfort of color. IF I go back.
Great wine… with so much help on what to get from one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had!! Dana E steered us towords the wine & food that gave us the best experience of this winery! We sat outside on a beautiful day backing on to the vineyard that grew the grapes for the Cynthiana wine… delish!!
Charming Experience at Valenzano Winery – Shamong, NJ
We had a wonderful experience at Valenzano Winery! The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the wine — absolutely excellent. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy the moment.
They also offer delicious food options that pair perfectly with their wines, making the experience even more enjoyable.
If you’re a fan of white wine, I highly recommend trying their Riesling — crisp and refreshing. But our favorite of the day was definitely the Merlot — smooth, rich, and full of character.
Valenzano Winery is now one of our go-to spots, and we’re already looking forward to coming back soon!
