Great wine, nice atmosphere, horrible seating. Would kill for a seat with a backrest anywhere in this place.
The ambiance is incredible. I would reccomend sitting outside if you get the chance and the weather is nice. Staff is incredibly attentive and personable. Food is amazing. Would recommend the shrimp po boy and cheesesteak eggs rolls. I had the farm favorite flight and would reccomend it. The waitress Gabby was incredibly sweet , kind , and made great reccomendations. I cannot wait to come back.Happy i celebrated my.birthday here.
Stopped in for a flight. Everything was very good. Cranberry and Shamong red were our favorites. The host was an older gentleman and exceptionally welcoming and friendly.
Great place with great food and wine. We also officially adopted Gabby!
The biggest thing is the service was poor. I felt extremely uncomfortable there. Went on a Saturday evening for dinner and drinks. The place was almost empty. We were a party of two including myself, we were seated at a table in the back room by the window. There was only one other table of two people there. The host gave us water but besides that no one came. 20 minutes past and a couple was seated to the table somewhat near us. They were helped a few minutes later, and still no one came to my table. We kept looking around making it obvious we haven't been helped but no one came. I couldn't help but notice I was the only person of color in the place. My friend and I moved ourselves to the bar and spent the evening there. There I think the women's name is Kathleen? She was lovely. She chatted with us gave us recommendations and made it a nice time. But I still couldn't shake my uncomfortable feeling.
The wine is ok I think most of them would taste better if they aged for some time. Seems very right from the vine. The food was yummy, especially the sweet toast Batch 3 - apples figs and goat cheese I think it was. Very fall flavors and sweet it was good I'd have it again.
The place is pretty but definitely looks and I'm sure functions more as a venue. Even the entrance doesn't look inviting. If I go back it would probably be for a nice dinner and that's all. Or a glass of wine and sit outside where I can't feel the discomfort of color. IF I go back.
Great wine… with so much help on what to get from one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had!! Dana E steered us towords the wine & food that gave us the best experience of this winery! We sat outside on a beautiful day backing on to the vineyard that grew the grapes for the Cynthiana wine… delish!!
Charming Experience at Valenzano Winery – Shamong, NJ
We had a wonderful experience at Valenzano Winery! The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the wine — absolutely excellent. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy the moment.
They also offer delicious food options that pair perfectly with their wines, making the experience even more enjoyable.
If you’re a fan of white wine, I highly recommend trying their Riesling — crisp and refreshing. But our favorite of the day was definitely the Merlot — smooth, rich, and full of character.
Valenzano Winery is now one of our go-to spots, and we’re already looking forward to coming back soon!
Always awesome!!!
After a busy family vacation, my husband and I treated ourselves to a relaxing visit at Valenzano Winery, and it was exactly what we needed! It felt like a peaceful little break from the chaos—just the two of us, great wine, and a beautiful setting.
The owner and staff were amazing, so welcoming and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. We really enjoyed the wine selections—there was something for both of us to love.
It was the perfect way to unwind and reconnect. 5 stars all the way—we’ll definitely be back!
Love the staff and the wine is amazing

I have been a full fledged consumer of Valenzano wine for many many...many years. I have pushed Shamong Red on ANYONE who says I hate wine, they quickly become drinkers.
Today was my birthday. Today was my very first time ever to this winery that I've supported from afar. I want to thank Sara and Gabby for making my time so pleasant. Sara introduced me to Shamong Blush that now is in my top favs (never giving up my Red).
We had 2 different apps and 2 entrees that had lovely flavors, but I couldn't try any dessert being to full and taking my leftovers to go. Enjoyed the wine too much. He says we will return and I am looking forward to it.
Thanks again for the lovely ending to my birthDay.
Beautiful place and ambience but terrible service. We were told when we arrived the kitchen closes at 8pm and to order appetizers now. We did order one appetizer and two glasses of wine. The menu had a small limited meal selection of mainly fried foods that you can order at Applebees. Therefore I ordered a salad with shrimp. It took forever before the waiter came back to see if we needed a refill. When he finally returned, he gave us room temperature tap water and bread plates with no bread. We waited, no appetizer. When the food came,
So did the appetizer. What’s the point of an appetizer, when it arrives with the meal?
I got the salad and it looked like it had 3 fried chicken nuggets on it, which costed an extra 8 dollars. My husband ordered the steak medium which was over cooked. The salad was old and sitting around and you could tell because of how soggy and over dressed it was to hide the wilting lettuce.
So $99 later, I was still hungry and spent way too much on nothing. We would have had better service at McDonalds and probably better food.
Note to the owners-You shouldn’t hire 16 year old kids to serve at such a nice place without proper training.
Nice grounds. Love a couple of their wines. Shamong red and and Lambrusco. Went to a witches event near Halloween and had a great time.
My husband & I visited this past Saturday and it was so nice! We sat at the bar for a wine tasting and Al (bartender) did such a great job explaining each wine to us. We did not feel rushed and had a great overall experience. We will be back for sure!
Al serving the wine tasting was great! Wines are delicious. We had a great time!
