I thought I would have trouble with my dietary restrictions but Roger understood the assignment! He was such a pleasant and helpful soul. Our meals were as phenomenal as our waiter. We will be back for lunch again.

I was very excited for this Eataly to open up in The Short Hills Mall, when I finally tried this location I was very disappointed…. The dishes in the restaurant are mediocre and a step up from Chef Boyardee at best! The market is pretty good, the bread is fresh and the pizza is tasty.
The Eataly in King of Prussia Mall and the Oculus at the World Trade Center is much better. I wouldn’t recommend the Short Hills Eataly to anyone…

I planned on attending last month’s Italian Date Night event on Friday 2/13/26. I purchased $300 tickets for my girlfriend and I, but unfortunately, I was unable to attend due to unforeseen travel delays.

I was scheduled to fly home from a work trip that Friday morning, but my flight was delayed multiple times, making it impossible for me to attend the event.

While I read your refund policy, I was reaching out to the restaurant multiple times wanting to explain my circumstance but no one would answer. I requested an exception via email to at least receive a credit or rain check. Sadly, I was very disappointed when I only received a reminder of their refund policy. I was very much looking forward to celebrating Valentine’s with my girlfriend and was let down that nothing could be done to make up for unexpected problems.

Recently had a great shopping experience at Eataly in the Short Hills Mall. I stopped in for some Too Good To Go bags and was really impressed with both the food quality and value. I also had a quick conversation with the Procurement Manager in the pasta dept, super nice and knowledgeable, about wheat and my gluten intolerance. He explained that all ingredients included in their prepared foods are sourced directly from Italy, completely authentic. When I returned home I tried small portions of their rigatoni and focaccia bread and had no reaction. It's amazing that I can now have real pasta and bread again! Kudos to that Team member!! The Too Good To Go bags were fantastic! Caprese salad, chicken noodle soup, pasta with roasted peppers, risotto with tomato sauce, plus a bakery bag with artisan sourdough bread and pastries, which my son loved! Great food and great people at the Eataly, highly recommend this location!

Please fix your food we like coming to the mall but this location will not last if the food doesn’t improve.
The serves was great but very disappointed with the food. The pasta was stuck together and had no flavor as all. The salmon was flavorless as well, seamed more poached then sautéed. The pizza was very good.

We have a very nice birthday dinner here. Food was great, especially the appetizers. We brought our own birthday cake and they were kind enough to bring it out for us. Service was excellent and food came out fast and hot!

This was a $500 lesson learned to Celebrate your birthday at home. It was the most awful restaurant I have ever been to. How could you screw up Pizza? The crust of the pizza was like a wet paper towel. You couldn’t lift it. You couldn’t cut it. All you could do. Was eat the cheese off the top of it they don’t give you any extra grated cheese. There’s no salt on the table. We had to ask for water 1 million times the Mater D at the desk was the rudest man. It was hard to get our reservation straight we had to call several times in advance. The kids even said the pizza wasn’t that great. The salmon was horrible. The chicken was dry with a slab of cheese thrown on it. The kale salad was fine except for we asked for grilled shrimp apparently that you can’t accommodate grilling or blackening all they could do is boil the shrimp. Very disappointed I will never go back. I will tell as many people as I have to that that is the worst place I’ve ever seen the desserts took so long. They actually gave us one free chocolate one, but we had so many desserts we had picked. We didn’t really need another dessert. The bruschetta with the ricotta cheese they were out of and it was only 4 o’clock on a Saturday the waitress barely paid attention to us. She had a Puss on her face the whole time the bus boys and the bus women were the only ones that were nice. It’s very loud you leave it a headache. It’s very warm in there. Make sure you bring a sleeveless shirt underneath to take off your top shirt. There’s absolutely nothing good about this place from the food to the water to the parking was awful.

Food is underwhelming and over priced. $19 for an average tasting bowl of minestrone soup! Bruschetta came out on untoasted bread and was bland.

The restaurant thankfully has plenty of space and space is what you need keep in your belly for a delectable Italian meal.

I’ve been to Italy many times and so that is my context, along from years of living in New York. That creates a high bar but I’m careful to give restaurants a fair shake.

Our server, Emina, was outstanding. She guided us on favorites and she was 100% on target. The food was delicious and service was great. Nice surroundings and a lovely way to spend an afternoon with the girls.

My boyfriend and I came here for our Valentines dinner. I've been to the NYC Eataly but this was my first visit to the Short Hills location. Our waitress was super kind and even helped us pick a wine we would like. We got to taste it before committing to buying it which was great. For our appetizer, we got the fried calamari & zucchini. It was cooked perfectly; the squid wasn't chewy and the zucchini wasn't too watery. Those are common flaws so I'm happy they avoided it! My main dish was lobster tagliatelle...I believe it was a Valentines special. I thought the dish was tasty and a great size portion- not overwhelmingly big or too small. I wasn't the biggest fan of cold lobster on hot pasta but that's personal preference. I mixed it right in and that helped it warm up to enjoy. Would definitely go again!!

The staff/host/hostess were all welcoming and friendly. We were checked in immediately and taken to our table on schedule. Our waitress was great. She was the perfect amount of attentive. We didn’t feel rushed.
