A friend and I had lunch there yesterday And we had outstanding service from our server, Roger. He was such a sweetheart and so attentive and helpful and made great suggestions. Totally recommend dining at this location. I’ve been to the Italy in New York City many many times, but this one is nice to have close by!

I was so sad that I didn't like it here! I have been wanting to check out eataly in NYC forever!! When I found out there was one in short hills, I was so excited. We did a last minute walk in to see if there was any chance we could get a reservation, and we did! Only waited 30 minutes which was amazing!
However, it was such a let down. The customer service was impeccable, but the food was oh so bland. I have high expectations for an Italian restaurant in NJ! Like...

Excellent Italian food. Service is a bit on the slow side. Ambiance is upscale casual. I'd say the restaurant is a bit overpriced for what you are getting. I'd recommend it for a once in a blue moon occasion. No need to plan way ahead for a visit
