Pathetic. $25 for this mediocre penne vodka in cardboard bowl. Small portion. Order yourself pick up yourself clean up yourself and they dare ask for tip.

Beautiful place to have lunch/dinner. However forget about it. We both ordered pasta and it tasted like rubber. Never coming back here.

Apparently, it's an Italian place. Cafeteria food, can't understand the bartender. Rude and pushy. Latin merengue blasting. I want to cry, hahaha, or laugh. Not sure yet…

Went here as we took a break from shopping. Food was great but the wait time was a bit considering there were not too many

After visiting the restaurant, we found the food to be mediocre and significantly overpriced. We ordered the Pepperoni Flatbread, Mediterranean Salad, and Bacon Cheeseburger, but they didn't meet our taste expectations. Considering the high cost, we won't be returning to this establishment and would suggest exploring alternative dining options.

The pizza here is better than in some well-known local pizza shops! We enjoy that it is essentially a fancy food court because it makes bringing our toddler for a super tasty meal very easy.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available and benches (diner style) make it easy and fun to accommodate families.

Handsome bartender named David did a great job on the cocktails!
I used to love this place but they’ve completely ruined it recently. It’s nothing compared to what it used to be and I would not recommend spending your money here. The fries were alright, but the pizza tastes like it wasn’t made fresh, the penne vodka with grilled chicken wasn’t that at all and the rice balls were okay. No idea what happened or why they ruined a good thing.
One of my fav eatery spot at short hills mall. This place is fairly new, and the spread offered is vast. Fresh pizzas, flatbread, pasta and many more. There’s ample seating space and is well lighted space. I really enjoyed the veggie flatbread for lunch by myself. Highly recommended!!
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options such as pizza or flatbread with veggies as toppings

I have gone to Short Hills Mall for 30+ years. On Tuesday, February 21,2023. My friend flew in from Montreal. As soon as I picked her up we headed to the mall. She was hungry, loves food and I had heard (but never had eaten at Primo Mercato. We went in and sat down in the section where you are served. The server asked us to sit close to the bar (not sure why). We both ordered the salad with avocado (she added chicken). It cost $15.95 each. We were served a plate of ICEBERG LETTUCE with a few thin slices of avocado. I was embarrassed at this cheap dish and expensive price. Her first taste of "NY" was terrible. I am surprised that this mall would allow this. I would never go again. I'd rather just get a $5 latte and a wrapped sandwich at Starbucks.
