I ordered my moms bday cake and a tray of cookies from here. I was excited about the Dairy free and gluten free options. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The cake was average. I could've made a better one myself at home. The cake itself didn't taste so bad but the frosting was horrible. And the cookies, I don't even know where to begin, I specifically asked for a mix of the chic chip, oatmeal, brownies and Madeline's. They gave us some black chocolate mint cookies that tasted burnt and like dirt, the rest of the batch was dry and inedible and there was not one Madeleine on the tray. The amount of $$$ We spent on these desserts just to throw them out. Beyond disappointed and will never order from here again. I should've trusted my instincts and baked my own.

A large selection of healthy gluten free items as well as some tasty breads and dessert type choices. They're pumpkin bread is delicious. It is very clean and they have indoor tables, some of which I've bench seating. They will also have outdoor tables depending on the season.

WOW!!! My family just discovered this place and it was like walking into candyland for us!! We have been following the SCD diet for about a year and it is a struggle to find places that we can eat at with our diet restrictions. The fact that the Squirrel and the Bee actually caters to people on the SCD diet was amazing!! They have a large variety of baked goodies, which were labeled with both the ingredients and which diet restrictions they met, making it super easy to figure out what we could eat or not. The people serving us were also helpful in making sure we knew what was in everything we ordered. We tried one of just about everything and my favorites were the lemon beebolo, pumpkin bread, and everything bagel. The atmosphere was really nice too - cozy and welcoming like I would expect of any other coffee shop/bakery. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the peanut butter cookie I tried was pretty dry and the service was kind of confusing because we had several people helping us at different times. But we were a large group and didn't really know what we wanted at first, so that probably didn't help. But overall, this was an amazing experience and I know we'll be back many times in the future!!

I don't even know where to begin. Coming from Texas where there are few gluten free options I sort of lost my mind at this place. My only wish is that it was closer so I could visit more. Everything is delicious. I loved the vanilla buttercream cake. The owner is very sweet and everyone who works here is so nice and helpful!! Their cold brew with cream is so good!!
