My first time at this location. I had lunch today with my 4 year old grandson, we where greeted at the door by a man who introduce his self as John that was very on point with the portion sizes of different choices on the menu which I thought was impressive and was very pleasant. Hats off to the chef I had a tuna melt that was perfect😋. I have been to a lot of Friendly's in philadelphia and New Jersey and this is the only one that I would give a 5 star rating. Keep up the great work I will be coming back 😊
Good evening Google Family. This is my first time visiting Friendly's in thirty 30 years. The last time I visited Friendly's was when I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and my nephew and I patronized the Friendly's down there. That was eons ago. I visited this fine establishment since I wanted or I had a taste for soup. It is cold outside so a cup of creamed broccoli soup would do just fine. They have a lot of parking here and there are handicapped spaces available. The outside still looks like it did EONS ago, Friendly's has not changed their iconic look. When I entered the restaurant, I encountered Dennis A. who is a server there. Dennis was so nice and engaging. I was telling Dennis that I had a taste for soup. Thank goodness they had soup. Dennis was telling me the kinds of soup Friendly's had. Chicken noodle, beef barley, tomato soup plus others. I opted for the chicken noodle, while I really wanted loaded potato soup, I could have really gone for that one!! Mmmmmmm I decided on take out. My breakfast was ready quickly. I had chosen soup and a salad. I chose balsamic dressing for my topping. I wanted French dressing and they had a selection of dressings and my french was not in the midst. My items were delivered to me in the Friendly's iconic bag. I paid by cash, my total was $12.78 and I received my receipt. I cannot comment on the rest room since I did not use. A good experience I had here and the vibe here was great. Have a good night, workout, be healthy, fit and fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age. DENNIS, a good server.
