It is NOT soul food. It is Asians making an attempt to cook soul food. Food lacked flavor. The cornbread was dry as dirt. The oxtail and gravy taste like oil. It's a take out restaurant only.

The food is delicious, well prepared and presented as well. The cooking area is clean and the people worked very diligently to get your food out fast. As a person coming from New York, this is the first place that I found cooking that taste like New York cooking, good job soul boat. The only area I would give a four star is the chairs and the decor of the place need to be a little bit updated.

Ordered catfish, Mac and cheese and greens. Catfish was not crispy, Mac and cheese was VERY dry, greens were bland. Extremely disappointed.
