It's alright - The sandwiches are great, don't get me wrong. The rest of the store is pretty disappointing. They've been opened several years now and that part of the store has always felt run down. They sell some interesting things you can't get at Wawa, but that's marred by the fact half the stuff I pick up over there is expired still on the shelf. Main stream brands like Coke or Pepsi products are fine, but the different ones you rarely see are frequently weeks or months out of date.I'd say its worth a trip for a sandwich, but do your due diligence before buying something obscure from the main store.

Went in for some sandwiches from the deli and was pleasantly surprised. The quality was great (ordered a Reuben), and the guy behind the counter making the food was so sweet and friendly. The store was super clean and organized. Would definitely recommend stopping in for a bite and a nice environment!

Idk what it the problem I have tried this place multiple times thinking, okay maybe it’s just a bad day. They never are nice, prices are marked wrong and when I said something he was like telling me oh that’s the price and he can do a favor like he was doing me a favor. As small as it is mindedness goes a long way. Items are out of date. Won’t be back!!!

This place should be a gold mine. It's not because of poor selection of everything that belongs in a convenient store / deli . No prices on most of the idems and who puts romain lettuce on a hoagie? Meats are great because its Boar's Head meat. You know a good deli by the smells. Not here.
i grew up in this town going to this wawa as a kid, and honestly this old nelson's hoagies are much higher quality than wawa's are now. so fresh, perfectly assembled with the fixins to meat/cheese ratio just right, and the roast beef is just as it should be (nice and pink) not overcooked like it is at most places. i came here looking for a hoagie like i remember from my youth and i was not disappointed. i will always be coming here for my hoagie fix. not to mention all of the great and interesting snacks and drinks! a much better variety than any other convenience store in the area. also the staff is so friendly, kind and helpful. i can't give this place enough praise. thank you old nelson's for being amazing!!

The ppl in the am not so good with making food. The guy that comes in around the afternoon makes great gourmet sandwiches n wraps.

I like the hoagies here - the deli meat is much better than at the chain stores. But several other orders have not matched the menu descriptions. My chef salad was missing croutons and Swiss cheese, and the cherry tomatoes were mushy. Another time, my panini was missing bacon. Sometimes the bread is stale and dry. Many items have no prices marked. Side items like drinks and chips are overpriced. There are better options within a mile.

I've had a couple bad experiences here. I've been over charged.y debit card was charged twice for the same order but today I went and bought some Deli meats and when I went to make my lunch for work I opened up a package of sliced turkey and it was absolutely rotten. Stunk up the whole house. Whenever you have a complaint about this place the owner accuses you of lying and refuses to rectify the problem. You have to rely on her daughter to make things right. I'm all about supporting local but I've been burned by this place too many times. Won't ever go back.
