“I had only visited Playa Bowls a couple of times and I had questions about the different bases and toppings that I could add. The person that assisted me was friendly, patient and answered all of my questions.

He also allowed me to sample the bases that I was considering which helped me to achieve an absolutely delicious bowl!“

“Our first time here - gal at the register was very friendly and helpful. We order two smoothies - both were delicious. Hard to watch two people working and four just standing gossiping, texting, watching tictok. Also, if you’re going to ware gloves for açaí bowl prep, please use caution with touching your hair, counter, face, phone etc and then going back to food prep - gloves can give a false sense of clean and there was lots of cross contamination there.“

“Every time we come to New Jersey this is a must-stop. The service is always great and the food is fresh. The only thing I would recommend is updating their merchandise. The clothes the staff had on were so cute but they didn't have them on their website.“

“I discovered this place today and had to share my experience. After debating what to get for lunch (everything is healthy and appealing!), I finally settled on a kale salad with beets, roasted sweet potato, and walnuts with a creamy Dijon dressing. For some reason, though, my credit card wouldn’t process. (I was on my bike and only put one in my pocket for the ride.)

The kind young woman said they had been having issues with the machine. After trying it herself several times, she went to talk to her manager. When she came back, she told me the salad was on the house! I said I couldn’t accept that, but she insisted. I ate it back at my rental house, and it was delicious! I plan to go back tomorrow for the food and the amazing hospitality. Thank you, Goji!“

“We passed by yesterday and said to ourselves this place looks great, we have to stop in. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short last night and head back north due to heavy rains.
