Food and service was excellent. However the noise level was so high that we had to eat in silence.
This place has a great ambience, terrific service, and the food is spectacular. I ordered the linguine Pescatore with seafood over linguine with a red gravy sauce, which was to die for my wife had the lobster ravioli in a vodka sauce, and it was awesome. The other guest had the Bronzino, which was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Consistently great! We had a reservation and were seated on time. Great lovely server. Terrific meals. A 5 star evening.
We always pick to eat outside to avoid the noise inside but there was party of 20 that was outside and VERY noisy!
They obviously overlooked and we waited 30 minutes for our table. The dining room is very loud. The service was spotty. We were told they ran out of bread but 1/2 way through our meal it was served. We asked for Parmesan cheese for our pasta course and it came when we were finished. On the bright side the food was delicious and the kitchen got our special requests perfect. $75 a person byob
We really enjoy this restaurant. Very accommodating. Food is always consistently delicious. Our server was lovely. Very attentive and informative, especially with the specials. Highly recommend!
Loved our dinner and the service was exceptional. A little crowded... but; it was extremely hot and I think many people asked to come inside. Can't wait to go back.
my wife and I have been eating at BV for years, and we have always loved it. This year was no different, but I think they are pricing themselves out. I am not sure we are going to be returning. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli special, and when the bill came we found out it was close to $60. We also ordered the caprese appetizer special and it was close to $40. For the two of us to eat at a BYOB we spent almost $200. Honestly, this is just to much and I don't appreciate the fact that you do not know the price of the special until you get the bill. Seems a bit underhanded to me. Unfortunately, I am not sure we will be going back.
35$ for a shrimp dish with only 3 shrimp. Not going back there again. Money is better spent elsewhere
Buona Vita was a mixed experience. The food was tremendous. Our plates and service were awesome. However, it was sooo loud in the dining room our waiter had to scream the specials so we could hear. The noise never subsided and I could hardly hear my wife the entire time.

Eggplant app was amazing! Made a reservation on a Saturday for that night and we were sat as soon as we got there.
Great experience! They could not be more accommodating for us! Great table, great service, great food!! We've been here numerous times and it never disappoints! We'll be back!
Prompt courteous service. Food excellent. BYOB a plus. Our go to in the area for more upscale Italian. Portion size excellent
This was not our 1st time here. We make reservations before we leave Philly. Food, service and atmosphere are consistently good.
What a lovely dinner we had. It is a BYOB establishment so we brought our adult beverage along and our server ensured that an ice bucket was brought to the table as well as his opening and serving our beverage. The food was delicious. I had a Penne Puttanesca, my s i l had a shrimp and pasta dish and my daughter had gnocchi in gorgonzola sauce. We had tomato caprese as an appetizer. The view from the 2nd floor was lovely. We were able to look out onto the bay and enjoy the view. We will be back again.
