Great place in Somers Point New Jersey right before going into Ocean City. We stopped in at the bar and the bartender, Declan, warmly greeted us. Nice pub style atmosphere. We each had a burger. I had the lamb burger, which was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. I opted for the Caesar salad instead of fries. We also ordered the classic cheese burger, which was also delicious. Ample parking on site. Good selection of beers on tap as well.

Josie Kelly's is a lively place filled with friendships. Look around the many rooms and one will see friends gathered at the bar tops or tables. The owners and administration are kind and caring. They share and instill these traits with the entire staff. Josie Kelly's makes sure you have had a wonderful experience while dining or just sitting down for a beverage. Always greeted and exited with smiles and caring personalities. When one returns for a second or more visits there should be a sense of a home feeling. The food - wow - A Taste of Ireland. What an experience to always go back and try something different and exciting. The recipes are the owner's family dishes from Ireland. Special catered brunch or dinner affairs ....an amazIng display of foods. Tea Lovers - Enjoy your own tray featuring a fancy tea pot and China. I love the Vintage Dining dishes and the relaxed vintage display of art around the entire facility.....warm and comfortable. A special treat is to pop in on a Sunday afternoon - sit and watch the local musicians singing and playing the music of Ireland ....walk out with a Happy feeling!

Josie Kellys food was great in 2022, now it is medicore frozen stuff. The restaurant is clean, and the occasional bands are excellent. Best bet is to solely order a drink or two and enjoy the music. As far as food - no. Eat at 4 other restaurants (Charlie's, Gregory's, Anchorage and / or Crab Trap).

This was our third time here and probably won’t be back. While the food is good I think it is very expensive. I paid $32 for corned beef n cabbage. Certainly not worth $32. My biggest problem with the place is every time I have been here my food isn’t hot, it like warm. Last time I had the bangers and mashed potatoes and same as this time potatoes are not cold hey aren’t really even warm. So I think it my last time spending $$$ for cold food.

I ordered the corned beef and cabbage entree and was disappointed. For the price I was expecting a few nice slices of corned beef. Instead there were a few flecks of chipped corned beef hidden beneath a pile of cabbage and way too much of a fairly tasteless fennel & parsley cream sauce. My wife had the corned beef Reuben sandwich which for half the price had significantly more corned beef than my entree. This was our first time at this restaurant and, although we enjoyed the atmosphere, I was not impressed with the food. Our server, Anthony, was very attentive and personable.
