The Doc’s Place is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the area with many delicious options. I always vacation down in Ocean City every summer and The Doc’s Place is a family favorite. We are always seated almost immediately every time with an option to sit inside or out. We always have had excellent and fast service. I’m a big fan of the Chicken Parm and Crab Cakes. Will definitely be visiting again in summer of 2026.

We had the early bird specials. The shrimp stir fry and the jumbo crab roll, both were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The prices were reasonable. The clam chowder was great also. We would definitely be returning. If we lived in the area it would be a regular place. The brownie desert was wonderful.

SO LOUD and the Salmon was very dry, filet mignon was just ok. BUT WHY would you have live music on a Saturday night during dinner? Use it during the week to bring people in during off hours. I could almost see it if it was subtle dinner music but this music was loud - happy hour or late night bar music. Perhaps good for the people at the bar but definitely not for dinner with friends. We, and everyone else having dinner, had to scream to each other to be heard. Perhaps you don't want to change the acoustics of the building's high ceiling but don't make the huge mistake of adding loud bar music during dinner! Last, we barely saw our waiter because he was waiting on almost the whole room. We have been local, long time customers and everyone knows it tends to be louder because of the high ceilings but tonight with the music, it just hit the total wrong note for us. I don't think we'll be back.

If you have a reservation for a large party be prepared to wait and be frustrated. Especially- a young blonde lady at the front who appears to be indifferent. They don’t have a lot of accommodation for large groups. However- once you get seated- the service and food is great. They treat you very well and paid for our drinks and bottle of wine. So - the advice is to have a smaller party and enjoy

Service was not friendly-very abrupt…Asking several times for water is crazy and that is just part of the story. Bar area is overpacked n difficult to get a drink-so small. As for the music, he is great.

Amazing dinner! My husband and I are visiting OC and decided to check out a local restaurant to get seafood. We were started with bread and a delicious oil to dip. Greg was our server and he was fantastic! We ordered clams as an app, and for our entree we got the sea bass and the scallops! We will definitely be coming back next year on our vacation!
Overpriced, BLAND food. (Sea bass and tortellini) Snow peas had all their strings. Tortellini tastes and feels like it’s from Costco. More like a continuing care retirement dining room with white tablecloth prices. The olive oil starter was well seasoned, though.

If you want to sit outside, you can ask for a table under the canopy. It's right on the waterfront so it's nice to see the boats.
