I go here all the time. The lobster is absolutely amazing! They have lots of cool fish on the walls and decorate according to the holiday. Servers are super friendly and speedy. I'd recommend the sweet potato fries! The dipping sauce is great :)

Food was great, best bar burger around! The wait staff and bartender were pleasant. I would definitely recommend.

Great local old school bar with surprisingly exceptional food. Family owned and run so it's always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They host live music nights in their dining room which are always entertaining. I.e. jazz night, night in Paris . Get the burgers, short rib poutine fries, extra crispy potato skins...

Server was rude. Food took a really long time when the restaurant was pretty empty and did not even taste fresh. Not as advertised in the menu and totally disregarded the request of well done fries. They came out soggy and oily, as if they were sitting around waiting. The nachos advertised cheddar cheese but it was cheese sauce on super hard chips and brown gauc. They did take off one entree from the bill but I will not be returning.

DEMOTED AGAIN !!!!! - Revisited tonight during their annual Oktoberfest to try the German menu they have for a month on the weekends. - Sadly, I was disappointed.....again. Almost ZERO due to the good sides. I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel. This year it was veal instead pork. In order to have a "Proper" Wiener Schnitzel the veal MUST be pounded with a proper spiked mallet to a thickness of less than 1/4" (6.5mm) and quickly pan fried in butter to a "golden" brown. It supposed to be tender enough that you should able to cut it with the side of your fork. - I was served a "hunk" of dark brown breaded veal between 3/8 to 1/2" thick. It appeared to be deep fried in the over used french fry cooker. It looked and tasted terrible, it was far too thick and needed a steak knife to cut it. - C'mon guys....for $27+ bucks now, when are you ever going to get it right???

My wife and I dined at Gregory's last night for dinner. The restaurant had good energy and was very clean. They have a large bar with tv's. Plenty of beer and mixed drinks to choose from. We started with a double order of wings with buffalo sauce. They were amazing. We also had short rib poutine. Very good as well. My wife had the scallops served over a bed of spinach. Overall very good but saltier than she prefers. I had the flounder Francaise over spaghetti. Large portion. Only issue was it was very salty. Otherwise excellent. I would highly recommend Gregory's for food and drinks. We plan on returning for taco Tuesday's which starts back up in September.

Food was good, French onion soup was great, very hot. Shrimp sauce was good I enjoyed it. Ruben tasted good but was soggy. The service started out good. Friendly and recommend items. Then we never saw her after delivering our meals and my husband asked for another beer and I asked for more water, received them when we were done. Food was good but service not so much, we were the only ones there.

We found this place in pursuit of a place our family of 8 could peacefully have dinner away from the boardwalk. It had a great menu, service was nice and thoughtful, and the food pleased everyone in our group. We got burgers, cheesesteaks, risotto, and more. Ambiance is a bit dated, but no real complaints. Fries were especially loved by the group.

Went on a weekend night. The place was pretty packed, but we were seated relatively quickly. The hostess seemed frustrated that we asked about the wait but still got us in within 5 minutes once a table was bussed. Our waitress was friendly. The burgers were pretty good, but the fries were more oily than I expected. I asked for no onions and got them anyway. It took at least a half hour if not longer to get our food (two burgers) after ordering, which the waitress did apologize for. A DJ came out about 9pm and started playing a very diverse variety, I'm assuming by request. The music was so loud that you couldn't hear the person you were seated with unless you were yelling. If I do go back, it won't be on the weekend.

Gregorys is unique in the respect that they have something to appeal to nearly everyone. Want great tacos? They have Taco Tues and Thurs. want fabulous live jazz? That's every other Wednesday in the dining room (resv needed). Want to watch the game or play trivia? That's in the main bar area. Maybe you'd just like to sit at a quieter bar and enjoy a good reasonably priced and expertly made cocktail? John in the dining room back bar will fix you up.Wherever and whenever you come here you'll get good food at reasonable prices and a friendly smile from Walt the owner. So lucky to have found this place. Try the fish tacos, French onion burger, or the non breaded Buffalo wings.
