The Windjammer was a pleasant surprise.When we heard that the restaurant we were first supposed to go was a 1&half hour wait. We saw the Windjammer and decided to try it , since now we traveled from Brooklyn ,we were hungry. When entering the place it seemed like a Diner with booths which we were seated in . Without a reservation, arrived at about 5:30 pm on a Friday night in August. 5 adults and 3 children. We were seated within 5 minutes. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Food arrived in a timely manner and was above my expectations. Delicious and served hot . Crab cakes full of lump crab meat. Topped off in the end with a very tasty dessert, made on site Highly recommend this restaurant
