On a whim while my wife and I were in Ocean City, NJ, she was craving a good hamburger. Both of us are gluten free so you can imagine that takes a lot of the fun out of eating a burger. However, at Tony Beef which we stumbled on by accident, we've went 3 times before we left OC. The hamburgers were above average and simply the best I've had. Home in NY, Binghamton Area, we just don't have stuff like this. The burgers were cooked perfectly, juicy and tasted great. We had cheese fries which too were perfect. Finally a chocolate shake which I cannot emphasize enough was made correctly, thick and drinkable from the first sip to the last sip. Flavor was spot on. To top it off, I cannot highlight enough how pleased we were to see Tony Beef uses BEEF TALLOW now to fry their food in instead of oil. That blew me away. We didn't feel sick or bloated after our meal and the gluten free buns were impossible to tell they were actually GF. My wife raved about this place and the food is worth it 110%. This will be a must visit everytime we come to the shore!

Did takeout from Somers Point location. First impression at 645 on a Friday night place was empty and the 3 employees I saw not busy. No inside diners. Not a positive sign. Counter young lady very friendly. Ordered Mushroom/ Swiss double, Big Schumacher double and 6 wings. Side of mild and hot sauce. Order was done in about 10 minutes. Got home and that’s where it went downhill. Burgers were tasteless. No pizzazz. Just beef with sauce. Wing sauce tasted like chili sauce. I personally don’t like chili. Husband did not care for them either. He said sauce was terrible. Definitely will not be back. For the money you ask better get some flavor.

We absolutely love Tony Beef! A great burger anytime you have a hankering. Cool atmosphere w board games for the kid in each of us. Sadly, they've removed the cheesesteak fries, but (!) If you ask nicely, they will make it for you. As usual, Tony Beef going above and beyond for their customers! Highly recommend dine-in or take out, whatever works for your shore days.
The food is a delicious and creative spin mostly on the burger and cheesesteak experience. There are lots of other choices but the staples are yummiest! Its made to order so expect a wait. They are busy and the dine in seating is limited. Brightly lit, very family friendly with 3-d puzzles for the kids, large party seating possible. Atmosphere similar to local family owned pizza places.

The single was filling. The schmacc fries were enough for 3 of us. The flavor of the beef was quite better then other burger joints. The manager Devonne, the cook Stevie, and the guy who set up our burgers, Owen, did a great job!
