I have lived in the area for a while but never visited this sandwich shop. Serving on jury duty brought me there yesterday. It is vintage in its atmosphere and may look dingy on the outside but don’t let that deter you from enjoying an authentic sub sandwich. It was delicious and the owner is super friendly.

I knew nothing about this place prior to walking inside, as I just happened to stumble upon it while walking in downtown Somerville. I’m so glad I stopped in. I paid a great price ($10 including tax) for a nicely proportioned corned beef Reuben sandwich that was delicious and prepared with the friendliest service ever!

Great Family Business! Family business is what builds the community around us. Courthouse Sub people are very welcoming and friendly. Loved how nice they are. They do everything homemade. The pasta salad and the breakfast sandwich with all the meats was a stack of deliciousness 😋 👌. You want the best from the community this is where to come.

Just went there for the first time. I had their Felon sub - which is essentially an Italian sub. It was very tasty, the right amount of meat, cheese, etc. But the roll was lousy. Soft and squishy. No crust to speak of - certainly not an Italian roll.

My fiancé and I had a great time visiting here a few days ago while in Somerville. We went in close to closing, the staff were very friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. The prices were good and I was surprised with how big the portions were, my half sub was huge! We will be back for sure!
