I can't attest to all of the food here because I am addicted to the empanadas and every time I think I will try something else I eat the empanadas. Did I mention that I LOVE the enpanadas? Friendly staff, very clean place.

I’ve really tried to like this place ?.
I’ve gone here a total of four times and one thing I will say is that the food is very good. As a Costa Rican, a lot of the restaurants are a hit or a miss around here, and the quality of food here is very solid, and authentic.
My main issue with them has been particularly being with their customer service, particularly the brother of the owner. On every occasion in which we’ve dined there, the gentleman who has been serving here has given us a pretty negative experience.
Not sure what ever happened, but our experience and impression has been that he’s treated us relatively harsh, sarcastic, and in a displeasing manner. The first few times i went here with family, we were displeased with some of the sarcastic comments and the service we received. We noticed he was far more attentive with other clients than with us. I can’t remember every comment, but one time I asked if they offered tap water and he said something along the lines of ‘no just rain water’, which came off as pretty rude, even with the look on his that he gave me.
I recently went and asked for something simple, and the same person was giving me an issue about it. I got up and left. I always like to give people chances and the benefit of the doubt… but I’ve had enough with them. Better fish in the sea.

It is one of the most expensive Costa Rican places to eat, the food is not that good, I bought some charismatic meat empanadas for the small (mini) size of the empanada and some sandwiches which the truth is I have eaten better ones for much less than what they cost me 2 in this place

I ordered both the chipotle chicken and beef empanadas and they were THE BEST empanadas I’ve ever tried!!!!!!! Highly recommend!
The wife and I had a nice little breakfast here. The service was quick and friendly. The food tasted fresh and had generous portions. My only complaint is that while they seemed to have award winning empanadas, I was not a fan. They were very doughy and didn't have enough filling. Other than that, the breakfast was great.

We were exploring the Somerville area and came across Division Cafe! The food was bursting with flavor, especially the Gallo Pinto, Enyucados, and their award winning empanadas!
The friendly and welcoming staff (our waiter was Joe) made the experience even better, offering great recommendations!The ambiance was cozy and inviting, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the weather, perfect for a relaxed meal. Division Cafe is a true gem in the Somerville area, and I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!
