I had low expectations for inside given it is at train station but apparently it was just redone and is really nice. A few tables for outside seating and a decent amount inside. Very clean. The Mano de Piedra had a decent amount of meat and was good but on pricier side considering it doesnât come with a side. Also got this little dessert cookie thing from the counter as the presentation was impressive. Very good but $4 seems crazy considering it was so small. Iâd go back but try other stuff.

Just moved to the area a few months ago and finally stumbled in to this little gem. First off, the new cafe space is super cool and cozy spot to meet with others or to get work done. Now, the foodâŠdude, VERY good, the variety was also amazing. I had several items including the empanadas, pastelĂłn and breakfast sandwich, the iced latte, too (super good!) The best part was the service, getting to speak to a few of the team members there about the food and the cafe itself, such a great experience there today, canât wait to come back!

If youâre in Somerville, NJ, this place is a gem that brings together the best of Costa Rican and American flavors. The restaurantâs warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with friendly service, makes you feel right at home.
What sets this place apart is the attention to detail in every dish. Each bite feels like a celebration of both cultures, and they have options for everyone, from rich, hearty dishes to lighter, fresh choices. Pair your meal with a Costa Rican coffee or a refreshing drink, and youâre in for a treat.

Initially I had a hard time finding the place. Google Maps takes you to the back door where the kitchen is, so you must walk around the front.
When I entered there were a fair amount of people either ordering or waiting for an order. I was immediately greeted with âWelcome to your new favorite placeâ. I ordered a cheese omelet with bacon and home fries with rye toast as well as an Earl grey tea. As I sat at the table waiting for my meal there were a lot of regulars that came in and others that appeared to have never been there before.
It felt like it took no time for my meal to come out of the kitchen and arrive at my table. Everything was cooked to perfection; the portions were generous and the omelet was outstanding. I completely cleaned my plate which I donât normally do. By the time I finished my breakfast place had cleared out briefly and I was able to take few minutes the talk to the very friendly people at the counter. I also took a look at all the pastries in the case. With a little help I decided to take a few home with me. While I don't remember the names of everything that I brought home it was all excellent!
If you have the time I strongly recommend stopping by you won't be disappointed⊠they weren't wrong this is definitely my new favorite place I can't wait to visit again!

Freshly made wraps and sandwiches. Liked the place in this old heritage building. Great for a summer meal when you can sit outside and enjoy the food. Not much space to eat inside so ideal for a takeaway.
Vegetarian options: Can also ask the service personnel to guide you on what to order. They do label veg and vegan dishes.
