My wife and I have come to fresh tiki bar several times now. I have had their soft serve vanilla which is out of this world. As well as their Italian cookie which if you like Italian rainbow cookies you owe it to yourself to try at least once. The place is fairly small inside but it does have outdoor seating. The menu is a good size for an ice cream place, they don't have 5 million flavors but when the number gets that high they often get real weird. The fun flavors they do have seam limited and on a rotation, but I think this allows them to provide a higher quality product from what I've had. I'm fairly certain this is a husband and wife team and I have only dealt with the wife, but she is always very friendly and has a general chipper demeanor.This is a great place for a small date night treat or to take the kids and get a little ice cream.

This place was only open a few days a week with limited hours. The inside gave off island vibes with the décor and music being played when I attended. The menu had mostly ice cream with tons of unique homemade flavors along with waffles and ice cream sandwiches.I opted for the ice cream cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream ($8.75?). This was gigantic!! I still am unsure how all of the ice cream was fit into the two chocolate chip cookies, but it managed to all stay together. This was tasty. The vanilla ice cream was creamy and 'full.' The chocolate chip cookies were very tasty too and went well with the vanilla taste. I also tried a chocolate brownie flavor. It was far too chocolatey to me. Will I go back? I would.

One of my all time favorite ice cream places!! So many fun and unique flavors that are stuffed with cookies and candies, and the ice cream itself is some of the richest and creamiest. They also have tons of other options — soft serve, cookies, sundaes, and waffle sticks. The owners are also super nice! Would recommend to anyone visiting Somerville!

Ice cream is high quality and HUGE variety whether you love ice cream, complex sundaes, smoothies or waffle covered in your current obsessions. There is a good amount of seating inside and outside. No samples and staff is still functioning like we are in the thick of a pandemic (behind a wall). It was challenging to see flavor options, crowd management is a problem and there's no photos of the treats. You need to choose on a hope and a dream and if you're lucky it's tasty and exactly what you hoped for.
Wow the sundaes are amazing!! Bring an empty stomach. You’ll need it! Very friendly staff and the tropical vibe is great.

This ice cream shop is nestled in a great group of other businesses in a plaza closed off to vehicle traffic and only open to foot traffic.A very unique ice cream shop and the Pink Soft Serve was absolutely delicious .

Tiki is definitely by far the best ice cream spot in Somerville and surrounding towns! Never disappoints. I have tried many things from Tiki and loved the blueberry sundae. It was amazing!! Love the waves and beach sounds played inside as well since it goes with the theme and is relaxing. Great quality and amount for the price. A must try!!!
