The owner of the bar is a true stand up human being.my wife lost her wallet and due to the credit of the way he is,one of his employees found my wife’s wallet and knew he would know what to do with it,he did his due diligence and found my sons guidance counselors card in the wallet,contacted the school and the school got it touch with us. We were able to recover the wallet with EVERYTHING to the dollar still inside and he was more than kind he was truly what I pray all humanity could strive to somewhat similar to and I believe we would be in a much better and understanding world.thank you again to Mr McCormick and his staff.the pub is a place I plan on frequenting in the very near future just to connect with the people

Imagines this… you’re craving an ice cold yuengling and a good game of pool at your local tavern. You walk into the bar, blinded by the light of an angelic being named Danielle; although you cannot see, you hear the words “yuengling draft?”. Of course you accept the offer and continue to have the most epic night that would even make your grandmother proud. None of this would be possible without Danielle.

I’m an ICU nurse and there’s no face I’d rather see after a long Friday shift other than the one and only, Katie. Her hospitality is out of this world, she is personable and works hard to keep her customers happy, and coming back. Her touch tunes playlist is unmatched, ranging from good old Motley Crue to a nice relaxing Zach Bryan song. If you’re looking for good service and cheap drinks, go see Katie, tell her I sent ya !

Never in my life seen a worse bartender or been pissed off more at someone in service industry . I ordered 2 coronas and the bartender without saying anything to welcome someone ,pointed to the fridge of beers. I thought maybe she didn’t have anymore at the bar , so I grab 2 beers and pay for my beers with the other bartender. I didn’t know the drinks from the fridge were for take out only. Well,the bartender who told me to go to the fridge made sure that I know in the worse way possible. I had my beer in my hand and she just grabs out of my hand along with the tip I left for the bartender. She said in the most rude tone ever “This is only for take out”. When I explained to her that I ordered the 2 beers but you told me to grab them from the fridge she acted as I had made the worst crime in state of New Jersey. At this point I was so mad at the way she acted, I asked for the tip back because I wasn’t provided a service)I tipped 100% of the bill) , she gives me 50 Cents which wasn’t what I tipped. I started arguing with her and she threatens to call the police. I used to be a bartender and a waiter and always make sure to tip generally and be nice to service workers. Someone like her shouldn’t be in a business that deals with people. She should be a prison guard. I went to this place because it had good reviews but it will be first and last time stepping foot in there.

McCormick's Pub is my absolute favorite bar in Somerville. They have the best pool tables in town and the owner Tommy and all his staff are friendliest. It's definitely my go to place. If you're looking to just have a drink and listen to music, or just to shoot pool this is the place to go. Great local crowd.
