Fun sitting on porch in spring for brunch. Prices are great considering other high prices ataround the corner restaurants. Delicious cocktails too! Have never been disappointed here!

LOVE this place. I am not a local but from sitting at the bar a few times, this is definitely a place that has regulars. That being said I've only sat at the bar, for drinks and shareables. The crispy fish tacos may be the best I've ever had and I've gone back for them a few times. Being that the margherita pizza is not a traditional pizza, it was still very tasty and had a nice lightness about it. As someone who doesn't typically like clams, the clams on fire has an incredible heat to them that masks the actual clam taste and I love dipping the crostini in the sauce. Like I said, I love this place and definitely would be a regular if I lived close by.

Most likely the best adult eatery in town. Excellent food, drinks are usually top notch, and the atmosphere lends itself to easy social relaxation. Menu and seating put kids at a disadvantage, so this is more of a date night than family dinner spot.

Though I am writing the review for project pub, it may very well be the review for Tapastre, the sister company, or whatever, situated in the basement of the same building.I visited the establishment last week. The cauliflower appetizer was great. I got salmon sliders and was disappointed with flavorless, sauce soaked sliders. Now comes the part of utmost disappointment, which made my trip to this establishment as the first and the last one. My wife and I ordered Old Fashioned with Whistle Pig Bourbon. We got up charged $12 per drink for this ask. A lot of bars use this underhanded dirty trick to rip you off. I am well aware of the scam and I usually take it off of the tips. However, the waitress was very nice so I did not do that this time. Whistle Pig, compared to the house bourbon would have costed them $20 more for a 750 ml bottle, and yet I am getting charged $12 more for 2 OZ of alcohol. They did make a decent cocktail though.Considering the disappointing food and the price, this place is a no for me.Edit: I am glad the proprietor of the establishment responded to my review. My complaint is not about the up charge or the practice of it. Rather, it is about how much is reasonable. Let us go with the proprietor’s claim that premium bourbon is $70 and I am choosing the house bourbon to be at $10 to add t his advantage. The $60 difference needs to be recovered. A 750 ml bottle makes 12 drinks. The establishment needs to minimally charge $5 per drink to make up the difference. The question is what this amount should be. I think $7 to $8 is fair and $12 is not.

Hidden Gem! Everything from the food to the service was outstanding! I had the caramel shrimp and the Reuben sandwich. The shrimp were crispy and had just the right balance of sweet and savory season. The reuben was piled high with lean perfectly sliced corn beef.A 5 star experience off the beaten path of the hustle bustle of Main St.

I just went there last night for dinner with a friend. The food menu has a lot of good options such as their veggie dumplings. I had a chicken sandwich and my friend and I shared the stout brownies, which were delicious. The service was great. The waitress was kind and courteous to my friend and I by checking on us. The ambiance is very cozy and classy. I felt like I was at home but out also at the same time. Looks from the place can be deceiving until you go inside. I definitely would recommend going again.

Wife and I had an afternoon without kids and decided randomly to come here for happy hour. Loved it so much we stayed for dinner. Bar tender was attentive and friendly as was the entire staff that we interacted with. All the food was made in house and it showed. Fresh ingredients prepared with care and attention. The little details made all the difference like the duck fat fries with smoked ketchup. We had several apps, soup, salad drinks and entrees. There was not a single bite we did not enjoy. Cannot wait to go back.

We came here in date night. Max is an awesome bar tender. They had gluten free options for my husband. The food was stellar and we had a great evening.Dietary restrictions: The duck fat fries are totally gluten free .

The absolute best casual restaurant in Somerville! The cocktails are amazing, the beer selection is plentiful, and the food is tasty and perfect for sharing. Max is an amazing, attentive, and friendly bartender. Definitely a go-to spot for a quick happy hour or a dinner that is casual but also leveled up a bit. Drink menus change with the season, so you just need to keep going back! Oh...and Sunday brunch is a must.... Mimosas, Bloody Mary board, Belgian waffles...there is nothing that disappoints at this restaurant!
