I don't understand this place. At all. While not much action on yelp they have a bunch of google reviews, almost all of them negative. You would THINK they'd be doing what they could to counteract that...maybe go out of their way to be active in social media, maybe improve the quality of their food or take some of the constructive feedback...and if they're going to be unexpectedly closed you'd think they would share that on, say, their facebook page. But no...as I write this at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon, despite the website, google, and yelp all reporting that they should be open, the window is locked and the place is dark. No posts on FB in over a month. I'd love to actually review the food but if I can't reliably know when the hell they're going to be there, I truly don't even see the point of trying. Not that I believe the owners read here (or seem to care at this point) but y'all need to put some effort into your business if you actually want it to succeed. It doesn't happen by magic.

Do not settle for this place, It's that bad. I explain why, makes you wonder when people give good reviews that they are only doing it because they are asked or paid, it's not based on truth. No one would ever say this place is good with an honest opinion, they would be lying.Price - $7.50 Chili-Cheese Dog- cant remember the rip off. It's 4 extra dollars for the worst cheese and chili ever.Cheese - was definitely worse than that cheap $1 Walmart shredded cheese you get. It was fake cheese for sure.Chili - Was definitely canned and was not good at all.Hot-dog - Was just not good, was not grilled, it tasted like it was cooked at one of those rotisserie's at 7/11 4 hours ago.Bun - Probably the only thing you can say wasn't the cheapest I've ever had, says potato bun but was not as good as the store bought ones.Atmosphere - was 2 young kids playing loud rap music, was not welcoming at all, not to blame them, if the food tasted somewhat good i wouldn't care, just added to the disaster of hot dog place.

$3.50 for a hot dog with relish, onions, kraut and mustard. $6.50 for a Chicago Dog. I lived in Chicago and Chicago dogs are special with poppy seed roll, special emerald green relish, peppers, onions, pickle spear and tomato. Here, the only difference between their so called Chicago Dog and regular hot dog is two itty bitty slices of tomato and a pickle. So for three bucks it isn’t worth it. And yes, I do not know what brand hot dog they use but it is very rubbery. It does not snap like a Thumann’s dog. I wish they had the Texas Weiner chili recipie too, no place to sit so you have one table outside so eat fast.

When you can order it's a decent enough quick hot dog. Went there half an hour before close on a Friday, and eventually the kid working comes to the window and tells me they hadn't had customers in a hour so they closed early. What's the point of the hours on the door if they don't

Went to grab some glizzys this evening. I got the chili cheese dog as well as the traditional Chicago. I will say the dog was a little rubbery and small for my liking. The chili and cheese were great compliments on the other hand. The traditional Chicago was not traditional, it did not include a poppy seed bun therefore making not authentic. I will say the service and atmosphere was very nice thus boosting their rating. Overall I will most not likely be back.

This place is god awful. Nothing special, overpriced, never have hotdogs ready to serve. Long waits and generic store bought condiments, good luck ever getting served if the line is more than two people.

Really disappointing. Luke warm hot dog. The cheese put on top didn't even melt because the hot dog was so luke warm. The Italian hot dog didn't represent an Italian hot dog. Peppers & onions weren't pre-cooked; just pulled out of a cold bin. Potatoes were potato sticks from a can. The quality of the food didn't match the prices that were being charged. I was hopeful but food didn't match the nice location of Main Street in Somerville.

This area needs a place that sells Sabrett dogs. They're the best, but $4.50 for a plain dog! No way!!!

2.5 stars. There was a line of about six people ahead of us and ultimately three left because the service was so slow. Perhaps somebody called out and today was a one off but can’t have this be a regular occurrence. They were out of chili so likely will return to give them another chance. Got the Italian dog which was nothing special and as other reviewers have said, the dogs are pricey. The menu is very short which I actually like but I do think fries would be a good addition.

Terrible service, lukewarm hot dogs and toppings. He handled the food with gloved hands, no tongs. The dogs were not in water. Thick “skin”. Gross. And ridiculously high prices on top of all that.
