Great ambiance and their entrees taste amazing. BIG FAN IF THEIR IMPERIAL COURT IPA but many a times it is not available even if it shows up on the menu. Draft beers need to be more chilled though.
I recently moved to Somerville and decided to try the brewery this Friday. I was honestly not impressed by the prices of the food and drinks. Got a flight which was pretty enjoyable and there were a few good brew options to choose from. Food was just okay. Didn’t knock my socks off but I did like my Cesar wrap. As an avid sandwich enjoyer, i definitely wish the menu had a larger selection of sandwiches. I will say the highlight of my experience was my bartender, I think her name was Val? She was kind, patient and personable. Overall, it felt like a good local spot that I could definitely see myself revisiting
The service has been awful every time, but the last time broke the camel’s back. After taking ten minutes to even be spoken to at the bar, I was finally able to get a drink. Ten minutes after finishing it I was still staring at an empty glass and being ignored by both bartenders. One didn’t breathe a single word to me, and ignored me more than once, she seemed rather upset about having to work for a living. Go to Verve in the same town right down the road, everything imaginable is better.👎
Love this place so much!! But I miss the truffle fries, please bring them back as soon as possible.
Food was decent, their beer wasn’t very good. Very expensive for a mediocre restaurant.
Poor cheese steak - cheese wizzy, light on its salty meat. Nice bun and salad side but a big disappointment overall. BLT was solid with an OK overly-dressinged Caesar side salad. Service was very good, but likely won't be back.
Great meal after a nice hike at Sourland! Nate was exceptional-gave great recommendations and checked on us often. Beer and food were delicious! Perfect spot for a casual afternoon.
Great spot. Drinks were solid, food was delicious and Larissa took really good care of my girlfriend and I. We'll be sure to come back here when we're in the area.
Had a wonderful time here. Stopped in with my daughter after touring a college close by.
Loved the astatic. Our server, Larissa was great. Even made it to dessert for some pie.
I will only say this once, just don’t go here.

Che and Santi(i hope im spelling it right) were amazing service the entire night. 100% recommend.
Angela was the best bartender ever!! Funny and accommodating. Shea, Dan and Brian K. Were also amazing! 10/10 recommend coming to see these guys
Ordered food, never received, bartender denied I ever ordered. There are other breweries in the area with much better beer and for sure, much better service.
One star for everything because I walked in on Friday night, stood at the front desk for 10 minutes with my wife while multiple employees walked past. No one greeted us, never had an opportunity to sit.. bad business
I didn't get a chance to eat but the food looked great. I was here to host trivia and wow, what a great atmosphere. It's definitely the largest brewery restaurant I've seen in the area. Plenty of bar seating, tons of tables; large and small. Separate rooms for a private gatherings.
The Pioneer's Porter was excellent. Very creamy and not too bitter. It was just a classic well brewed porter. No exotic flavoring, just a standard coffee/chocolatey finish you get with a great porter.
The food looked so good I was kicking myself for eating beforehand. Most breweries in NJ don't offer a full menu but these guys are putting out some good looking dishes. Will definitely eat and drink more next time I go.
