We had a fantastic time at VintEdge. It was interesting to discover they're owned by Wolfgang's and now serve a wide variety of high-end entrees.

On December 14th, I called the bar and lounge to inform them that a group, including myself, would be coming in for drinks. I spoke with Alexis, who mentioned that they were fully booked with reservations. I clarified that we would only be at the bar and would not require a table. Alexis assured me this was fine.

When we arrived, however, the hostess informed us that we could not enter and that standing at the bar was not allowed. I requested to speak with the manager, who identified herself as Alexis (though I am unsure if this was her real name). She reiterated the no-standing policy.

I pointed out that during our conversation, I could clearly see other patrons standing at the bar ordering drinks. This inconsistency was deeply troubling, especially as it appeared that the patrons allowed to stand were not people of color. The optics were concerning, to say the least, as it suggested bias or possibly discriminatory behavior.

If standing at the bar is indeed against policy, this should have been communicated during my earlier phone call. Furthermore, I reviewed the establishment’s website and found no mention of this policy, adding to the confusion and frustration.

As a first-time guest, my friends and I felt disrespected and unwelcome. This experience not only lacked professionalism but also gave the impression of inequitable treatment. I hope the management takes steps to address this issue and ensure that all guests are treated fairly and respectfully in the future.

I've been a regular at this restaurant for quite some time, and I can confidently say that it's one of my favorites. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes me feel welcome. The food is consistently excellent, with a great variety of delicious drinks to choose from. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a long-time patron like myself, you're sure to have a wonderful experience here. Highly recommended!

I recently met up with some friends at Vintedge to exchange gifts and catch up after the holidays. I was able to make a reservation the day of, for Saturday night and upon arrival, the host was awesome. She walked me to our section which consisted of a small cozy sofa, comfy chairs and a table. She also went as far as to offer me a small private room to accommodate the rest of my group.

We took the host up on the room and ordered some food and drinks. The food was good and the drinks were great. Our server was super friendly, recommending drinks and even took a couple of pictures for us at the end of the night. We’ll definitely be back 😊

Recently went with a few friends and couldn’t be more satisfied with everything from the atmosphere, drinks, food, and the staff. Grace and Jaimison were so polite and helpful and made the experience so pleasant for us. Highly recommend a night out here. You won’t be upset with your decision. Will for sure be back to see the staff for another phenomenal night out.

This was my first time at this place and I was met at the front door with a warm Atmosphere. The bartenders and the servers were so kind and were able to guide me through the menu. Grace and Jaimison were so easy to deal with and were able to make great recommendations. Alyson was the nice woman who sat us and she turned out to be so helpful when we had questions about our orders and what the restaurant had to offer. Our drinks, which were made by Jaimison and Grace were made to perfection. I can say that I really enjoyed my experience at this place. It was absolutely because of my interaction with the three of these young ladies. They were courteous, they were attentive, and they made sure that we were well satisfied. With the level of professionalism displayed by them we will certainly be back. The three of them are just such nice girls who all share the workload and make you feel like the restaurant revolves around you. To the girls who made us all feel welcome and turned us onto an amazing place to enjoy food and amazing drinks made to order. Thank you , it’s made a real impact and the place is lucky to have you part of the staff !

It's a cool vibe, could be better, My gf and I were going to be sat next to a loud crowd and wanted to be intimate. I asked to be moved and was accommodated thank God. Also bought a Brunello bottle next door and brought it over, after opening the bottle I was told it was $40 to open it! I was thrown off by that. I thought that was expensive considering she couldn't pronounce the name on the bottle, also told me the cork was stuck! I laughed and said " it's from 2015 and my throat is dry". My experience could have been better. Remember your not serving me in your basement. These owners need to teach better or have better employees for the $$$ being spent.

This place used to be the best place on Somerville for a cocktail. Unfortunately it has not been the same after they were bought out by Wolfgangs two years ago. Also, there is a weird choice in DJ that makes the place feel more like a club than a wine bar.

First dish took 5 minutes second ? been 45 minutes will it ever come ? You decide. If you order chicken tacos will come fast. For anything else your guest may wait for .........?? who knows
