Wolfgang's Steakhouse - Somerville New Jersey

Tuna tartare, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts were excellent. Filet had great flavor and char, but 16 oz is too big but I'd prefer a smaller, juicier cut. Calamari was chewy with oversized rings, and the lychee martini wasn't for me. Service was just okay. My husband asked for a sparkling water for himself, but the server assumed the whole table wanted it...opened two bottles and poured for all five without asking. Most went untouched, and then another bottle was opened for him again. Slick move and a turnoff. I'll be back, but more aware. A manager touching tables at this price point would be a nice touch.

From start to finish this was a great experience. Service was wonderful, the food was delicious. My husband had oysters. I had a Caesar salad, which was very good. We shared the Porter house for two and the German potatoes, mature delicious. We finished with coffee and the chocolate mousse cake. This is an upscale restaurant. It is pricey, but delicious and worth it.

Guess it is just a sign of the times, but noticed that prices seemed to have gone up considerably since our last visit that was with the past year. Otherwise very good as usual.

Excellent filet. Cooked perfectly. Couldn't be better. Shrimp cocktail and salad as expected. Lobster Mac and cheese ok. The issue I have is the impatience of the staff. Constantly coming over to take out order even after we asked for some extra time. Must have tried to take our order 4x in the first 15-20 minutes. We finally ordered salad and shrimp and waited to place main dish.

Wolfgang's has become our favorite eatery for celebratory evenings. The attentive service, quality of the food, and intimate ambiance are the recipe for a wonderful dining experience. A real gem!

Was looking forward to dinner all week and was very disappointed. It was very hot we were sweating while eating our dinner. My husband's glass was dirty. The drinks were terrible. His steak came out over cooked. The fish was bland and the lobster mac and cheese was not that great. Wasn't happy with the outcome considering how much it costs to eat there.

Wolfgang's is an outstanding steak house. We have dined several times both at the Times Square location and the Somerville location. Very good service, outstanding steaks, and sides. All perfectly cooked. Great cocktails and and very good wine list.

We love to eat at the bar and are always very well taken care of by Kobe and friends. By far one of our favorite spots. Always 5 stars. Kobe, thank you again for your hospitality

Best quality steak ever. Cooked exactly how I requested. In addition, service was excellent. Overall a 5 star experience !

Received apps before drinks and bread, so that was annoying. Waiter tonight was not the best. Not attentive. For the amount of money you pay, I expect better.

Overpriced, even for a steakhouse. Mediocre food. Bartender had no clue how to make a sazerac,; a quick Google search would have been helpf For them. First we got some sort of martini, then we got a cocktail that had some sort of pureed fruit at the bottom. Embarrassing for a restaurant of this calibre. Unfriendly hosts, rushed service. Disappointing overall. Try Char in Raritan instead: better service, value, and food.

My dining experience at Wolfgang's (Somerville) was amazing. The steak was prepared in perfect fashion and the service was top-notch. All the food, from the appetizers to the sides, were extremely tasty.

Always a pleasant experience while dining here. Billy our server is always tentative to our needs, as well as Milo the Mgr. Who is always around to check on his guests. Food and drinks are also made to perfection.

Outstanding dinner and service. Felt the way a high end steakhouse should feel. Definitely a bit pricey but our whole family had a very enjoyable meal with terrific service. They also accommodated multiple changes for our party of 8. Thank you!
