For the money, I expected an amazing, wow - filet mignon. That was definitely not the case. Mind you, the steak was not terrible, but it was not five stars for sure. Especially not for the price. There area a lot better steakhouses in the area.

Great experience. Food and cocktails were outstanding and could not have asked for better service! Always look forward to going back. Did not disappoint!

We had high expectations for Wolfgang in Somerville, especially given the pricing and reputation. Unfortunately, my experience did not fully meet those expectations. The service was courteous but inconsistent, and at times our table seemed to be overlooked. The food presentation lacked refinement, and the steak — which appeared to be oven-finished — was quite dry. The accompanying sauces did not enhance the dish and had a watery consistency with limited flavor impact. When dining at a restaurant of this caliber and price point, I anticipate a memorable culinary experience. While the evening was pleasant enough, both the food quality and service left room for improvement.

Wolfgang's has the best food and service. Amazing place. My favorite restaurant. Highly recommend.

Was not nearly as delicious as I remember! Went to the one in NYC and the food and service was much better.. the service was very unattendive , didn't even make sense since the restaurant was empty ..

We had a 6:45 reservation. It wasn't until I approached the manager that we were seated at 7:50. Our waiter Nico was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food we ordered was excellent.

Had to wait 30 minutes for our reservation. There was no room to even stand inside. No room at the bar area. It was packed. We were crammed into the vestibule. The front staff were just calling names of larger parties that would fit at whatever table opened. We were a part of 4. It took complaining twice to finally get sat. Multiple people were complaining about there reservations. Once we were sat nobody came by. When a server finally came over he rushed us to get our order. He never came back to check on us and was obviously annoyed at something. Dinner service for 4 people took almost 3 hours. It was incredibly noisy and we almost had to scream to talk to each other.

Jimmy our waiter as always, was excellent! Place was extremely busy, he didn't miss a beat!

Dined Christmas day and expected Wolfgang's to be busy, what we did not expect was the service to be abysmal. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated after a couple minutes wait. She provided us with menus but not cocktail or wine list. The waiter stopped by after a few minutes and asked about our water preferences and walked away. He came back a few minutes later to take our order. He never provided us with the cocktail menu and wine list, nor did he tell us about any off-menu specials. When couples were seated after us, there waiters provided them with cocktail menu and wine lists and described the specials. While I expect Wolfgang's waiters to be abrupt, I did not expect them to just treat us so poorly. While the food was very good, we skipped desert as I was annoyed with the waiter. Our previous dining experiences on Christtmas day have been much better. For the amount of money, we spent we should have had a much better service experience.

We asked for a dish to share as an appetizer and we received it with out starters. This ended up being a bit ackward due to the fact that a starter is to be eaten before the appetizers.

Superb high end food quality, service and setting; outstanding Christmas Eve dining experience. NYC pricing but worth it for the proximity to home.

The food is delicious, ambiance and experience are wonderful. It was Christmas Eve so they were extremely busy, but they made it work. Gracious staff.

Onion soup had zero flavor, the house salad was a handful of mixed greens and a slice of tomato. I had to remove half of the pieces of steak from my sandwich with pieces being mostly fat. I would have said something to the server but after dropping our entrees we did not see him again until after someone else cleared our plates and he stopped by to ask if we were ready for the check. He did not come by to check in on either course or to refill waters or drinks. I have been here prior and had an amazing experience so may have just been an off day?

We have been here several times . . . Different days of the week and time of day . . . So this time (Sunday 4:30) we seemed to be going backwards from the Parking and beyond . . . We were lucky enough to get a spot in the front but there was so much snow / slush piled up it was hazardous. We had an elderly (85y/o) who walks with cane and had to have two people help her out of the car for safety. I wonder if the curb would have been cleared IF the valet service was in effect. We step inside and are seated promptly. After taking our seats the waiter approached, asked about our water choice but he didn't seem happy we went with tap. Came back with the water and went right into what he felt was the next move ordering food . . . We were speaking and felt rushed to make a decision instead of him coming back. He was kind of making the entire evening uncomfortable. We had apps, soup, entrees which mostly came out 1,2,3 little to NO time in between. Our Porterhouse for 2 was well undercooked we ordered med it came out black and blue, baked potato was WARM no butter (I repeated the order twice but some how he seemed to still NOT get it right.) Drink was empty and never addressed in the multiple times they were at the table . . . finally 20+ mins later he offered like he was doing me a favor . . . it is unnerving to pay $550+ and have this type of experience. We have never had an issue here and may not return. A Shame really because we do enjoy it when treated properly.

We love this restaurant. The servers are very attentive, and everything we ordered came out great. My complaint is that they no longer offer an 8 ounce filet mignon, only a 16 ounce for $75. I don't know any woman that can eat that much steak. Wolfgang's: You need to add back the 8 ounce filet. Also, with 8 people at $100 per person +2 bottles of wine, when I'm dropping over $1200, please don't bring me something to put my food in when I asked to take it home! The servers should take care of that at a restaurant of this caliber.
