I was sitting for a moment just taking it all in, and something came to mind that I wanted to share
The last couple of years havenāt exactly been my brightest stretch to put it lightly but being at 244 has become one of the few constants that genuinely lifts my spirits.
Iām naturally on the more reserved, observant side, and I tend to overthink social situationsā¦ but being here has opened me up more than I expected. Iāve met people who feel like real friendships in the making, and that only happens in a space thatās run with intention and heart.
Thank you 244, Not just for the night, but for the atmosphere you help create ā a place where people can actually relax, connect, and feel like they belong. It's not all that common, and it doesnāt go unnoticed. :)

I absolutely love the 244 spot! Itās a great weekend hang out bar with very delicious drinks and food! The bartenders are the absolute sweetest angels and Jeff(the owner) is an absolute treasure to be around! I always feel so welcomed when I walk in! They also host great drag shows, comedy shows, and other really fun events! We need to support our LGBTQ+ bars and clubs!! Much love to you guys 244ā¤ļø

Awesome place! We just moved in a few blocks away and we were looking for a regular spot. We're both gay and wanted a nice place to relax. This place def fits that, great drinks, great bartender, and great atmosphere. Felt welcome from beginning to end. Can't wait to come back!!!

I stopped by on Sunday night after the Superbowl. Didn't know it was karaoke night but now I know. Got to talk to Frank who was bartending. Great guy. Happy to say I'll be back.
[Did the hours change? Arrived just after 8pm Monday night and door was locked. I'll be happy to update my review if I get a reply as I've been wanting to check out 244. Thought I'd give 244 another chance and stopped by Tuesday night. Door locked. Someone needs to update Google. Just saying.]

Just moved to Jersey and wanted to head out to a gay bar. Was pretty disappointed to get to the door and find out that a cash-only cover is required to get in the door. I typically go out with just my phone and credit card, but most places nowadays accept Venmo or Apple Pay in the event that a cash fee is required. Maybe Iāll come back another day with some cash, but for now Iām upset that the closest gay bar to my place is behind the times.
So I have gone to this bar twice. The first time was to see my friend perform. My drink had no alcohol. That has never happened to me at a bar before. The second time I went to perform myself. They slammed both doors in my face because I left the door open and they shouted āclose the doorā and slammed it very hard. For obvious reasons I will not be going back. A brought a group of people with me there and bought several drinks. Itās rude to slam a door in a customerās face, in fact that is unheard of, because your door doesnāt close on itās own. That is not my fault. Really unprofessional and rude.

This place is not up to standard. The drinks I had were spiked, and I should know, being a bartender myself. I didn't appreciate that you are harming your customers for a quick buck. They just wanted to have a good time. I only had one drink, so I shouldn't have a headache or feel nauseous.
Also they only take cashā¦.. as if mobile pay isnāt a thing.
